I am passionate about being a dentist! I love my patients and making them happy. I am most excited when a very anxious, apprehensive person becomes one of my best patients and actually looks forward to their dental visits!
Serving three generations of families is the highlight of my career. Ive had the opportunity to see children grow up into healthy young adults who then bring in their own children. I truly cherish the connections Ive made with so many of my patients.
The past 30 years have been fantastic in respect to the advancement of dental technology and treatment options. To keep current with whats newest, best, and most effective, I continue my education, having amassed several hundred hours of continuing education courses throughout my career. These courses allow me to increase my skill level and provide up-to-date, excellent dentistry and the latest technologies and techniques.
As the daughter of a career US Military officer, I spent the first 12 years of my life living in Ft. Knox, Kentucky; Ft. Dix, New Jersey; and Germany before settling in Rahway, New Jersey. Ive now lived in Upper Marlboro, Maryland for 23 years. I am married to Samuel Hyder and have two grown daughters and two grandchildren. My granddaughter is in college my grandson is a junior in high school, and they are the center of my life. Ive also been blessed with two sisters and a great extended family.
In my free time, I like to stay close to home doing various home projects, and spending time with family and friends. I am also very involved in my church in various leadership and community positions.
Besides my church activities, I am involved with a community-based program which provides dental treatment in the local school system. I believe it is very important to make a difference in the lives of young children. I also do health fairs and have attended career days at schools. I am also very involved with my sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., providing community outreach and scholarships.

Welcome to Full Circle Dentistry! As Dr. Caldwells dental assistant, I meet and greet patients and help them feel comfortable from the moment they come through the door. I also assist Dr. Caldwell and the rest of our team with anything that will enhance our patients experience at our practice. I love seeing our patients leave our office with a great big smile! I enjoy working with Dr. Caldwell and our staff because everyone cares about our patients and providing the best quality care. It really is a fun place to work!
As a dental hygienist, ensuring my patients oral health is my number-one goal. In addition to preventive and diagnostic treatments, I also provide patient education on good home care, since oral health is a MUST for successful overall health. We are a family in this practice, all with the same goal: to provide exceptional treatment and information that helps our patients achieve their dental goals with ease.
I am here to help make sure Full Circle Dentistry is the best it can possibly be. I have a high level of professional standards and love interacting with people. I enjoy working with Dr. Caldwell and my co-workers because we all have a passion for excellence. This leads to a great atmosphere and good attitudes toward our patients and ourselves.
I was married for 17 years and have two grown daughters and two grandchildren. To stay busy outside the office, I started a waterless carpet cleaning business which has been up and running for two years. This particular way of cleaning carpets is great for families with children and pets, because there is no drying time. It is also great for the environment!

As someone who dreads going to the dentist, Full Circle dentistry has changed my outlook completely. The staff was very welcoming and polite. Dr. Thomas was very nice and most importantly gentle with my teeth. She was very knowledgeable, explanatory, and honest with me and I truly appreciate it. I actually look forward to seeing them again for my routine cleaning.

I was a patient of Dr. Caldwell for a few years, who has since retired. I was apprehensive about scheduling with Dr. Thomas because I have dental phobia. I not only need someone good with my teeth but someone who is gentle, patient, and will help calm my nerves and she did all 3. My cleaning was amazing, fast and painless. Dr. Thomas is a great listener and also very knowledgeable when it comes to understanding the patients' needs and wants. I'll definitely be returning!
