Dr. Howard Frysh earned his first dental degree in 1971 and has had the unique experience of practicing dentistry on three different continents. He believes in providing high-quality care and enjoys educating his patients about their dental health. This patient-first mindset means his patients fully understand their treatment options so they can make informed decisions about what is best for them.
Dr. Frysh grew up in South Africa and spent time in London before moving to the United States. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Baylor College of Dentistry. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Frysh has many other achievements. He served as both a professor and chairman at the Baylor College of Dentistry for many years, published numerous dental research studies, written several articles, and coauthored two books.
He also earned a patent for developing a toothpaste that has a coloring agent which is absorbed by plaque. By giving the plaque color on the teeth, this toothpaste makes it easy for someone brushing their teeth to ensure they brush away all of the colored plaque.
Dr. Annie Girson graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin, then moved on to Texas A&M College of Dentistry to receive her DDS; graduating from both universities with honors. She believes dentistry is the perfect balance of creativity, science, knowledge, learning, service, and empathy but above all, dentistry is a way to care!
Dr. Girson became a dentist not only to relieve pain, but also to make patients feel special, confident, and proud of their smile. Her favorite part of being a dentist is seeing the impact she can have on someones life through their smile. Building trusting relationships and creating comfortable, and enjoyable, dental experiences are also incredibly valuable to Dr. Girson.
Dr. Girson grew up right here in Dallas and is very passionate about giving back to her community! She was very involved in outreach programs throughout her undergraduate and graduate programs, both in the US and in other countries, and plans to continue her philanthropy throughout her career. In her downtime Dr. Girson enjoys running, art, traveling, cooking and spending quality time with friends and family, her husband Ricky, and their poodle, Samson!
Melanie has been with Frysh Dental Group for 15 years. She enjoys interacting with our patients who are like family. Enjoy people - enjoy life! She enjoys swimming and loves summertime! She's also grandparents to her childrens' dogs who are always at her house.
Celena is a Registered Dental Assistant who joined our practice in 2018 but has been in dentistry for more than 6 years. What she likes most about her job is getting to know the patients and helping them feel as comfortable as possible at each visit, In her spare time, Celena loves to spend time with her husband and family. She also enjoys going to the movies and cooking.
Tanya is a register dental assistant who has been in dentistry for 6 years now. Tanya likes to make her patients feel comfortable during their dental procedures and providing high quality care. She is also working on a Bachelors of science at UTA. Tanya likes to travel, read books, spend time with her daughter Alyssa, and dedicate her time to her family.
Hannah has been a registered dental hygienist for ten years. She has worked with Frysh Dental Group for the past four years. Hannah was the 2009 Class Valedictorian, graduating with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Chemistry minor in 2016. As a student she received several awards including 2008 Hinman Scholar and 2008 American Dental Association Scholar based on academic excellence and leadership. Hannah is passionate about providing the highest quality care while helping patients prevent, understand and treat various dental conditions. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with family, exercising and watching performance art.
Zoraida is a dental assistant at Frysh Dental Group and she has been with the practice since 2020. Her role is to assist the dentist, which includes caring for and comforting patients during their visits.
