My 11 year old daughter had a wonderful experience with Fry Ortho. She had a braces treatment plan that was right on track! She is smiling even bigger, not letting self esteem issues hold her back. The Praire Village office is so nice and professional, at times during the newer Covid precautions, she would have to go in the office alone, and felt completely comfortable and welcome. Speaking of Covid, we loved how the office went above and beyond to ensure their safety as well as ours, and took temperatures, sanitized/disinfected etc immediately upon entrance, and how clean it is kept. (My kids would argue that they miss the snack basket, and the Nintendo games is so missed, but understandably so). Braces were a very smooth process for us, scheduling appointments was never an issue, they have a very flexible schedule that helps making the long term commitment worth it, not to mention the lifetime guarantee retainers after treatment!

Fry Orthodontics is an amazing specialist. The doctor is awesome and works well with patients and their families. Staff is also wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend them to everyone for their Orthodontist needs.

Super difficult to get your child in for repairs (ie. broken brackets, poking wire). They have limited hours and even no hours at the PV location several days during the week. For a company that caters to children, staying open later in the evenings (7pm would add more options) would work better with the childs school schedule.

Watch out. This business will try to strong-arm its customers into "auto-pay" midway through treatment, adding extra-contractual provisions and then refusing payment and threatening to send to collections. Don't get fooled by the shiny smiles.

Everyone at Fry is so helpful and friendly. I felt welcome and comfortable each time I went in for an appointment. I had my braces on for 18 months but it didn't seem that long. I would recommend Fry to anyone who is looking for an orthodontist in Kansas City.

Excellent staff! Staff has happiness everyday no matter what day is it there always pump up to work. I wish Dr. James was my dental dentist, he is very nice like the staff. I really enjoyed going to my appointments and sometimes getting out school early so I can go to Fry. Fry is basically perfect because while your waiting they have for you snacks. I'm really going to miss going to Fry Orthodontic and not seeing Dr. James. But oh well my little sister is getting braces later so then I can see the staff again.

Fry Orthodontics = most effective Invisalign provider in the city I've had Invisalign twice from other providers, I walked into Fry thinking I was going to get full blown braces "BC the Invisalign could only do so much for movements" according to other providers. I don't want to give away Fry Ortho's secret sauce but I'm now a happy Invisalign customer BC their treatment plans and knowledge about how to leverage Invisalign's capabilities is unparalleled. Go here for you! Send your kids and family members here! It's absolutely the best place for improving your smile.
