I went to Fry Orthodontics to get a second opinion about getting either braces or Invisalign. This is a newer office, although small, and the staff is friendly and personable. They do a thorough job of examining your teeth and making a recommendation for a plan. Firstly, if you are on the fence about getting braces or Invisalign, I would highly suggest getting no less than three opinions. This was one of several recommendations I received and each opinion was vastly different from the others. Two other established orthodontists said they could not correct my bite. Two said they could and this was one of those businesses. The estimate for both was around $5k, which seems to be the going rate, braces or Invisalign. They have a tool that is supposed to help you visualize what your final result will be. I didn't find this particularly understandable or useful, especially given two other providers explained why it couldn't be done in a way that made sense. If your case is pretty straightforward, this may not be an issue for you. It's an expensive and time consuming proposition, 1-3 years in work and then retainers after that. Shop around and ensure you understand the plan and are getting the most for your investment.

I had a lot of money and effort put into my teeth. From spending 3 years with braces, to two years with Invisalign, I had not gotten to where I wanted my smile to be. In 20 weeks, Fry Orthodontics has exceeded all of my expectations.

I absolutely love Fry Orthodontics! For more reasons than I could possibly mention in this review, this is most definitely the prime place for adolescent orthodontic care. We visit both this location and the original Olathe office off Blackbob. Both locations have incredibly caring and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Merriam is just wonderful! Very highly recommend both locations!
