Dr. Krehl Stegelmeier was raised in the small town of Rexburg, Idaho where his father was the town veterinarian. He grew up helping his father and working on his uncles potato farm. He met his wife Amy in Jackson, Wyoming where they both worked as river guides on the Snake River.
Krehl and Amy have four children, one girl and three boys. The Stegelmeier family moved to Fruita in May of 2005. They love the area and the recreation that it provides. They raft the Colorado as a family in the summers. They also love to go boating, mountain biking, hiking and other other activities where they can enjoy the outdoors.
Chelsie is one of our Dental Hygienists. She has been with our office over 10 years. Chelsie graduated from CNCC with her Dental Hygiene Degree in 2009. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and little boy.
Cyndi is another one of our hygienists. She has been a Dental Hygienist for over 30 years, the last 10 years being with Dr. Stegelmeier. She truly loves what she does. Cyndi also enjoys camping, hiking, golfing and spending time with her family. She loves to cook and try new recipes, especially desserts. She is a valuable part of the Fruita Canyon Dental team!
Jenny is one of our dental hygienists. Jenny has been in the hygiene field for over 20 years. She has experience in periodontal therapy. Outside of work, she loves to watch her boys compete in rodeos, ride her horses, and enjoy time at her ranch on Glade Park.
Bonnie was born and raised in the Fruita area, and has been with our team for over 8 years. She has a background in the food and beverage field, and brings in some delicious things to share with the staff. YUMMM. She enjoys rafting and spends a lot of time on the Colorado with her family and friends. She is great with patients in helping them completely understand their treatment. She looks forward to seeing you in our office on your next visit.
Debbie was born and raised in Hawthorne, California and moved to the Grand Valley to be near family 40 years ago. She is a Certified Dental Assistant from Long Beach, CA. She also has her Phlebotomy and X-Ray certification. For 15 years she worked in Oral Surgery, and has been working in the General Dentistry field for the past 20 years. During her free time she enjoys manufacturing and producing a jalapeno salt, and being a vendor at local craft shows. She also loves to sew and cook and work in her flower garden. She also enjoys keeping up with her 3 young grandchildren. She does a wonderful job at helping out patients feel comfortable and offering great care.
Madalyn comes to us with lots of expertise from the orthodontic world, where she was an ortho technician for 6 years. She also had lots of experience working with patients and making them feel safe and comfortable during treatment.
Madalyn grew up in Palisade, home of the famous peach. Her parents still live in that area and have an orchard with lots of yummy fruit. She has a warm, bright personality and will make your next visit to our office a comfortable and great experience.
Michelle is a native of Fruita, and has been working for Fruita Canyon Dental for over 13 years. She graduated from FMHS and loves living in this area. Michelle enjoys the beautiful outdoors and spending time camping and four-wheeling with her husband and five children. She is a Certified Dental Asst. CPR, and First Aid Certified. She is amazing at keeping our front office running smoothly!

Amazing facility. Staff was attentive and very friendly. During my visit, they took the time to explain what was happening at every step. Every staff member showed genuine care about my experience. I highly recommend Fruita Canyon Dental, A+ service!

Everyone in the office is always very friendly and helpful. I recently had a deep cleaning with Jim and he was amazing. One of the best experiences I've ever had at the dentist. We was very calming and reassuring. Highly reccomend!

Ok, they filled a cavity. It was amazing! First off no needle! That is the best, then they used a laser to take out the cavity and filled it with something I cant even see. In short it is just this side of magic. Every one was super friendly. There it is, a good visit to the dentist.

Appointment went well today "finally"! The appt was rescheduled a couple times with my knee surgery and when the Fruita office was closed for maintenance. My teeth cleaning, x-rays, and seen by the dentist was all good! Thanks

Talk about going beyond anyone's expectations, Shay's helping hands after she was off duty helped me get comfortable for the night , I have NEVER had anyone that showed me more humility and genuine concern for me in any office!!! They all have been great, Shay's kindness and humility towards me and my special needs was far beyond any of my expectations, hands down best service ever this office is the one for ALL
