After spending 10 years training in Dallas and Seattle, they were thrilled at the opportunity to settle in Cheyenne, WY to raise their 3 children, who love all of the open country and beautiful scenery that Wyoming has to offer.
Dr. Boyd completed dental school at the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he received the award for the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student of 2013 for his outstanding achievements and performance in undergraduate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He then completed his 6 year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at both Parkland Medical Center through UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, including medical school and a year of General Surgery. He also trained in Seattle, Washington at Harborview Medical Center with the University of Washington Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency.
He has vast experience in wisdom teeth and complicated extractions, implants, orthognathic surgeries, nerve repair, facial and dental trauma, advanced bone grafting techniques both intraoral and extraoral, management of cleft patients, TMJ surgery, and management of medically compromised patients.

You should use this dentist it is so great and so wonderful the staff is very nice the dentist is very very nice he's so very kind to the issues that you have and he gets your teeth fixed very fast they are the best I have some problems and issues and they got me in Fast and I'm on my way to surgery they are a good place to go

Erica is AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, TOP OF THE LINE! She is an amazing communicator and we were never left in question or wondering anything. She went above and beyond to help us get where we needed to go and we would not be here if it weren't for her and Dr. Boyd! Dr. Boyd is attentive, listens and hears what his clients say and went to the extreme to help us out. We are blessed and grateful to have been put in such AWESOME care of Erica and Dr. Johnson!!! I just cannot say enough about how Erica is OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING and this is the BEST clinic EVER!

Dr Boyd and his whole team are just awesome went in to get three teeth pulled that were causing me pain and they were so nice and careing and didn't fill judged because the shape my teeth are in ether. I will most definitely be back for some more teeth to be pulled and I highly recommend them to my friends and you

I went in to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and I was so nervous! But the staff and the Dr were so so so kind! It was done and over with and I was home before I knew it! I would definitely come here!!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed last week at Dr. Boyd's office. He & his staff were wonderful & made me feel very comfortable. The procedure went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend getting your wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Boyd!

Had my wisdom teeth removed at Dr. Boyd's office last week. The staff are warm and friendly. I had bad anxiety since the procedure was supposed to be done under sedation, but everything went extremely well. Fast, no pain, and it was such a good nap!

This was my 2nd visit in last 5 years, and was just as Amazing as the first (wisdom tooth,) 1st time.. Dr Boyd is the Best Oral Surgeon in Laramie County. Taylor was so supportive and entire Staff so upbeat. I wouldn't go to any other Oral Surgeon. Painless and quick can't ask for more.

I had a broken tooth and had tried several dentist offices all pushing for another week or two. But the pain was unbearable. Frontier Oral got me in right away. The surgeon yanked 2 of my teeth with minimal pain and very quickly. The staff was friendly. The nurse that assisted him kept me very calm and she made the procedure so much easier to go thru. I appreciate what you guys did for me. If I need dental care, this is where I'm goin

Dr. Boyd did an excellent job on arthrocentesis for my TMJ. I hardly even knew I had the surgery and wasn't in any pain afterward at all. His staff was all extremely nice and worked with my insurance, although I self-paid to get the procedure done more quickly which was very affordable too. I would definitely recommend this doctor and will be going back in the future. Edit: Dr. Boyd performed 2 more successful surgeries on me at CRMC-an open joint jaw surgery and coronoidectomy. Both went very well and he was always available for any questions or concerns by cell phone and I could just come by his office at a moment's notice if he felt I needed to be seen. I was extremely happy to have a local doctor who was capable of performing these surgeries, because the next closest option was Denver and it required a lot of follow up.

Dr. Boyd is doing four implants for me. The initial procedure went perfect. I am healing well and have had less pain than from prior implants done by dentists. I suspect this is because Dr. Boyd is talented and, as a real oral surgeon MD, has the special training for complex procedures. The staff all worked to make me feel welcome and comfortable.

Absolutely amazing. Had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Boyd and I am beyond impressed. Went into my appointment with high anxiety from the horror stories I'd heard from my friends and the staff was nothing but amazing and calming. It's day 4 and I can barely tell I had oral surgery a few days ago!!!
