Dr. Brandon Pack graduated from UT Houston Dental Branch in 2011 and has been practicing in the area since August 2015. He is a member of the American Dental Association and has advanced training in IV sedation and oral surgery, which he acquired while stationed at the Air Force Academy. Dr. Pack demonstrates his commitment to and passion for dentistry by participating in continuing education on a quarterly basis. Before becoming an established dentist in the Bandera, Texas, area, Dr. Pack was enlisted in the Air Force from 1998 to 2007 as a Pararescueman. He returned to the Air Force and served as a dentist at the Air Force Academy from 2011 to 2015. Dr. Pack has two wonderful children: his oldest, Alivia, and his son, Jacob.
Dr. Kothmann graduated from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in 2019. Before her studies in dentistry, she also received a Bachelor of Science in nutrition from Texas A&M. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and she was recognized on the Deans Honor List and awarded with the Predoctoral Student Achievement Award during her studies. Education is a high priority for Dr. Kothmann, and she will continue learning quarterly, just like Dr. Pack. Among her many skills, Dr. Kothmann is Invisalign certified and she uses all of her abilities to provide quality dental care for her patients. Her priority is to build relationships with those she serves and to make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed.Dr. Kothmann grew up in Dallas and has wanted to be a dentist since she was a little girl. She and her husband are new to the area, but they have always dreamed of living in the Hill Country and are excited to get to do so! They welcomed a baby boy, Cayden, into their family in July 2019 and have two dogs, Doug and Otto. When she is not in the office, Dr. Kothmann enjoys being outdoors, hunting, exercising, reading and going to Aggie games.
Amber is the lead assistant here at Frontier Family Dentistry, joining our team in June 2018. Amber's top priorities are the patient's oral health, comfort and understanding. When not in the office she spends her time with her son, Oryn, family and friends.

Great work and outstanding, friendly customer service! Dr Pack and his team fixed my crown that had came out on a trip, and they were careful to do the work painlessly too. Ana at the front desk was wonderful and I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I'm relatively new to the area and was worried when it came time to find a dentist. After reading the reviews I decided I would give Frontier a shot. I couldn't be more happy with my decision. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. My family and I have found our new dentist! Thank you to all of the staff at Frontier, yall are awesome!

Dr Pack is truly an awesome dentist. I come from Dallas to Bandera just to have him do all my dental work. He is very knowledgeable and talented in dentistry and is by far the best dentist I've ever gone to. At 62 years old I have been to my share of dentists and none that I have been to can compare to Dr Pack.

Just had something of an emergency, resulted in a root canal.... I hate going to a dentist for anything.... In this case I had to visiting my own outstanding dentist, DDS, Dr. Brandon Pack. Quickly and totally professional, assessed, examined and determined that I needed a root canal that needed a specialist. All this at 11:30 on a Tuesday morning and by 8:30 the next morning... in the chair and being taken care of... They made everything perfect (they totally took care of the biggest dental chicken in Texas). The Frontier Dental staff are all the best and I couldn't thank them enough. Dr. Pack is one of the most consummate professionals I've ever meet and made a difficult circumstance bearable, saved an anniversary dinner and an anniversary cruise trip by taking care of everything in 1 trip. From one old retired sailor to the younger airman.... Bravo Zulu young man and thanks a million....

I came in to his office last year, right after he opened up Frontier Family Dentistry with a unique request. I had just been given a script for a TAP, a dental device for sleep apnea. A TAP replaces the need for sleeping with a C-PAP machine and makes life a lot easier for those who suffer from sleep apnea. Although they had not processed request for a TAP device previously, the staff worked my insurance to get this device approved and paid for.
