Dr. Joseph Frontera was born in Newburgh, NY. He received hisundergraduate degree in biology from Binghamton University, NY in 1986, and in 1990 he received his DDS at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. He worked on his residency at the Albany Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Dr. Frontera makes sure to work hard continually. Although his schooling doesnt require it, he usually continues his education once a month. He enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest developments in dental science and the feeling of security that it provides his patients. In the 21 years that Dr. Frontera has been practicing dentistry in the area, he has become a respected member of the ADA.
In his spare time, Dr Frontera enjoys the environment and the community that he lives in. Whether it be spending a night at the theatre or checking out new restaurants around town, he loves spending time in the community.

Dr. Frontera is very skilled. He has a great office manager and the dental technicians are wonderful. Dr. Frontera is a sole practitioner, so the office is calm and relaxing, never too crowded. He knows his patients by name and makes time when you need to see him. I have been a patient for over 10 years and love going to the dentist! You will too.

Dr joe is joyous, funny and incredibly easy to let him pick thru sensitive areas in your mouth with a metal hook. Kelly at reception is always warm and welcoming and all other staff is easy to be around! Favorite lutherville dentist!!

I have been going to Dr. Frontera for a while now! He always makes dentist visits as pleasant as possible! Takes great care of my teeth and genuinely cares about his patients! Definitely recommend!

Dr. Frontera is always a consumate professional, and always makes the dental process and easy one. Offering later in the day appointments so I can leave work, and head straight away to see him. The staff, especially Kelly, is always friendly & welcoming. They treat you like a part of their own family, always asking about my 8 1/2 month old daughter and 17 year old son, and wanting to see pictures! Dr. Frontera takes time to go over what area of brushing/dental care I should focus on, and is also encouraging of the things I'm already doing well on. We'll be a part of the Frontera Dental family for a very long time. Thank you Dr. Frontera!!!
