Dr Abdoun graduated from Cairo University School Of Dental Medicine, Cairo, Egypt. He joined the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Dade County Dental Research Clinic, Miami, Florida. Then he attended the advanced general group at University of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine . After that Dr Abdoun continued his education and completed the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine implant program, which is among the most prestigious and respected program given and directed by one of the world pioneers in implant dentistry Dr Dennis Tarnow .
Dr Abdoun was awarded a fellowship status in the International Congress Of Oral Implantology ( ICOI ) one of the worlds largest dental implant organization for dentists seeking excellence in dental implants.
In 2008, he joined the prestigious Columbia University Dental Program where he did his residency in and obtained his DDS, In Advanced Education Of General Dentistry , followed by a fellowship in 2010 at New York Presbyterian hospital in the big apple Manhaten, NY . he was the chief resident during his freshman and senior year. Dr. Arafa is licensed in New York and Virginia and he is member of the American Dental Association and a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry.
While in New York Dr.Arafa had over 500 houres of Education in Implant Dentistry and minor surgery Joined the American Academy of IMplant Dentistry to sharpen his skilles of placing implants using multiple systerms and techniques to help patients needs He majored in placing implants, minor surgery and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Ammar is a graduate of the prestigious orthodontic program at The Ohio State University, where he earned his certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Dr. Ammar also earned a certificate in craniofacial anomalies treatment and masters degree.
Dr. Ammar is a board-certified orthodontist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the college of diplomats, and a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Society, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. He has participated and published articles in the most respected journals of orthodontics, and holds a patent on a device to upright impacted lower second molars.
Dr. Ammar is an expert in methods of orthodontic treatment, including conventional braces, aesthetic clear braces, Invisalign clear aligners, lingual orthodontics, surgical orthodontics, surgically assisted accelerated orthodontics, and early interceptive orthodontic treatment.

My front teeth both broke and my insurance denied but Courtney helped fix them until they were approved! Cannot thank enough and recommend this place, they work with you and put in so much effort!

Since my original post was deleted, glad I saved the post: Receptionists are ill equipped for their jobs in public communication or any job in general. I also have never met a dentist that has less training in the realm of proper bedside manner than Hesham Aref. Be prepared to be berated and accused of questioning ones clinical judgment if you simply ask a clarifying question on your own treatment plan. Forget your rights as a patient, because here at Front Royal Dental Group, the dentists fragile and weak ego is most important!! No regard for patients schedules, seeing as they frequently cancel last minute and come up with excuses that a 1st grader could out-do. Best place to go if you want to waste your time and are in the mood to deal with arrogant and poorly trained medical professionals.

Love the service! The Dr. And hygienists are VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, NO DISCOMFORT, always explained what's happening and what to expect. The office staff and assistants are top notch!

After having worked in this business myself for many years, I officially have had my faith restored by this practice. They were very professional and friendly from the start to the end of my appointment.They did not try and upsell me. They are honest and follow insurance guide lines. I highly recommend them. I have found a home.

I can't express enough of the dentist and staff at this place and their love of their job and helpfulness of all staff! So good with people and children...especially difficult cases like my daughter Adriana and her excessive fear of needles! I've never had such a great experience!

they were completely understandable on us being tight on money and gave a temporary filling for free which was originally over 200$. Very appreciative of them for what they did. AMAZING ENERGY FROM AMAZING PEOPLE !! Totally recommend them for a good family dentist.!!
