Dr. Keith Frome graduated #3 out of 80 students, from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1985. He then did a General Practice Residency at David Grant USAF Hospital in Fairfield, CA from 1985 to 1986. Dr. Frome then served five years in the US Air Force from 1986 to 1991.
While in the service he became proficient in oral surgery, hospital dentistry, sedation dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics, TMJ therapy, as well as general dentistry. He then returned to the Mid-Valley in 1991 and has been in private practice since that time. He enjoys doing all phases of dentistry, especially helping those who have extra apprehension about dental work.
Dr. Frome is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society that only accepts the top 10% of all graduating dental students. He has also been recognized as a Top Dentist in Oregon by the International Association of Dentists, and as one of America's Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America. In addition, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Southern Willamette Dental Society.
Dr. Frome enjoys camping, backpacking, hiking, skiing, fishing, waterskiing, and all ball sports. He is active in church & civic activities. He is currently the Linn-Benton Community College Board Chair where he has been a Board Member for four years. Recently he received the Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America for his longtime service as a Scout Leader.
At the age of 19, he served a two-year church mission in the country of India. After his mission, Dr. Rob attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and graduated with a Bachelors in Nutritional Science.
Currently, Dr. Rob and his wife, Kristen, are living in North Albany. Robbie is thrilled to be back in Oregon and to be around family and old friends again. His family has grown as he and Kristen now have two children: Luke (age 10) and Emmaleigh (age 6). Robbie enjoys spending time with family, coaching his kids soccer teams, playing sports, cooking, and serving in local church and scouting groups.
Lea has been working as a dental hygienist in our office since 2007 after working 12 years in Wisconsin, where she graduated from Madison Area Technical College. This is Leas second career after being a small animal and emergency veterinarian for many years. She has come to enjoy the challenge of dental hygiene proficiency and the refreshing, interesting communication with patients and pleasant coworkers.
As a professional from two theaters she finds it important to work with very competent respectable dentists and has found them so here. Lea especially likes the satisfaction of teaching people how to effectively take care of their own teeth on a customized basis.
She enjoys traveling and hiking (especially in the mountains) with her Springer Spaniel and Archaeologist friend and hopes for more snow to ski on every winter. Shes very close with her daughter, Taylor, who just graduated 2013 from Macalester, MN, and promises to come back West soon.
Sally has over 35 years in dentistry, joining Dr. Frome in 1994. Her knowledge and dedication is unbeatable. Staying current with the newest trends in dentistry and collaborating with the doctors to achieve a positive result for their patients is her goal.
