After graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1981, Dr. Welch moved to the Texas Panhandle and established his dental practice in the community of Fritch. Throughout his years of practicing dentistry, Dr. Welch's desire has been to give individualized care with excellence to all of his patients. Because of his desire to bring world class dentistry to the Texas Panhandle, Dr. Welch has pursued advanced training throughout his career. After completing the entire continuum of training at The L. D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Continuing Education, Dr. Welch was asked to join the teaching faculty, which he was a part of for several years. He also obtained his Fellowship in The Academy of General Dentistry and continues to strive to remain on the cutting edge of modern dentistry. Dr. Welch and his wife Pam raised three daughters in the Fritch community. He enjoys spending time with his daughters and their families, the outdoors and fly fishing. He also serves as vice president of Crisis Aid International and works on their overseas projects several times a year.
As a native of Fritch, Dr. Henderson is honored to have the opportunity to practice dentistry in the town that has always been home to him. Dr. Henderson is married to his high school sweetheart Kimberly, and they have four sons and a daughter; Kellen, Kole, Karson, Keegan, and Kyla.
After graduating from Sanford-Fritch High School Dr. Henderson attended and played baseball at Frank Phillips Community College and Howard Payne University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Henderson then completed his DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio; he also completed the Preceptorship in Dental Implantology and was chosen to participate in the Implant Surgical Selective that is limited to eight fourth year dental students. He also understands that furthering his education is essential to providing the best care to patients and has completed continuing education courses at the Dawson Academy, the Pankey Institute, and is an active member of a Spear Study Club in Amarillo.

Angela is certainly not the friendliest receptionist within this office. Constantly hangs up on you before you can get state the reason for your call. Not very professional/welcoming especially being the first contact for this practice, unfortunately.

The best dentist in the area, in my honest opinion. The staff is always very kind and helpful, and I've only had good experiences with Dr. Welsh. I have always had problems with my teeth, but they never make me feel uneasy about them or pressure me to do anything unnecessary. My dental health is the most important thing to them, and that shows.

I'm a big pansy and they catered to me and my needs. I got a new front crown and they were so nice and professional. I don't like dentists at all but I like these guys and girls. All of my dental needs will be taken care of by Fritch Dental group from now on. Thanks for giving me back my smile, it's been years.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SO TERRIFIED OF THE DENTIST! I'VE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IN THE PAST. I WENT TO DR HENDERSON HERE IN FRITCH AND IM SO AMAZED WITH HOW HE HANDLED MY SITUATION. IM SO GLAD THAT I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A DENTIST THAT I CAN TRUST AND FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH. THANK YOU DR HENDERSON AND ALSO HIS STAFF ARE AWESOME.

On Labor Day Sunday, I bit into a cob of corn only to have my front crown move. Of course this was extremely unexpected after not having any problems for 20 years when the crown was placed. (I have to preface this with: I HATE DENTIST!!!). After having a horrific experience with an Amarillo dentist 10 years ago, I had been derilect in oral healthcare. I frantically searched for a local dentist on FB and found Dr Kelly Henderson page and sent a message. Within the hour, I received a return message for an appointment on Labor Day!! I met Dr Henderson and his nurse Sara at his office on Labor Day. After x-rays, it was determined that it was more serious that a loose crown. I had a broken tooth. Dr Henderson and Sara spent approximately 4 HOURS (on their holiday) stabilizing my tooth and put on a temporary. I was sent to a periodontist in Amarillo, Dr Collins within days. Dr Henderson, Sara, Angela and his entire staff have given me a whole new appreciation for what dentist should be.. extraordinary professional, dedication combined with kindness and outstanding patient care. I can not say enough good things about Dr Kelly Henderson and his staff. This experience has restored my faith in the dental experience. If you are looking for a dental professional that blends kindness with exceptional patient care, I strongly urge you to make an appointment today. I have several months before my procedure is complete, but I can now say that not all dental experiences are the same. Dr Henderson is amazing. This facility has the nicest staff, and makes the experience wonderful. No one likes going to the dentist, but the people here make is much more pleasant and less dreadful than other places. Recommend 100% of the time.
