For almost a decade, Dr. Hong has provided dental care to patients in a vast array of settings, from private practices to community health centers. Her experiences compelled her to establish her own family dental practice in her hometown. The ribbon was cut for the grand opening of Frisco Smiles Dentistry on April 23, 2016. Dr. Hong is excited and proud to be serving her community and surrounding areas. She welcomes patients of all ages and holds a strong belief in patient education and prevention. She is dedicated to helping her patients create and preserve a long-lasting impression.

Originally from South Vietnam, Dr. Hong moved to Irving, TX as a young child. She has been providing dental care in various settings for over a decade, gaining invaluable experience in both community health centers and private practices. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Texas at Arlington and earned her doctorate in dental medicine at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Following her degree completion, she undertook a year of advanced studies at Lutheran Medical Center in NYC, and it was this experience which led her to her dream of establishing a family dental practice in her hometown. As a resident of Frisco, Dr. Hong is excited and proud to be serving her community.
Dr. Hong strives to be a lifelong learner, staying ahead in the field by continually seeking opportunities to explore the latest materials, treatments, and diagnostic tools. She is certified for Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, and nitrous oxide administration. She maintains affiliation with the North Dallas Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
She currently resides in Frisco, TX with her husband and their two boys. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Dr. Hong also finds great joy in the mindfulness practice of yoga and holds a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification. Her other interests include cooking, gardening, and traveling.

My 1st experience was having a crown recemented on that had come off. Dr. Hong and her staff were very accommodating getting me in the day I called and resolving the issue without having to replace the crown. This was a crown I have had for a number of years and there was no attempt to try and upsell me for a new crown. During that visit she did discover a small cavity. The day of that appointment I forgot about the appointment and called about 20 minutes late and they were still able to fit me in to get it done. My experience so far has been great and I will return to see them with any other needs. Nice people, great service.

I can't say enough good things about Frisco Smiles staff and of course Dr. Hong! They treat me and my family with so much care and respect and go above and beyond with their services. My family and I are patients of Dr Hong for more sonce 2016. I just say: my kids are happy to go to the dentist!. She has done an incredible work for me and my husband. Doctor Hong is very professional, kind and take her time to explain everything. The staff is very friendly and professional. I Strongly recommend her.
