Who could understand your child better than someone who has grown up in pediatric dentistry? As a teenager, Dr. Lide spent summers working in her fathers pediatric dental office in Garland. She was totally convinced that she, too, could make a difference in the dental health of children.
Dr. Lide is a graduate of Southern Methodist University (1991) and Baylor College of Dentistry (1996), where she also earned an advanced degree in pediatric dentistry (1998). She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, and other local dental associations. She has been honored by D Magazine as the Best Dentist in Dallas and by Texas Monthly as a Texas Super Dentist. She 's also been named the 'Face of Children 's Dentistry' by Faces of Frisco magazine.
In her free time, Dr. Lide loves to spend time with her kids going to movies, watching reality TV, and playing with their dog a cute little pug named Dodger. They also love to travel and go snow skiing every year. Her favorite hobby is photography, especially that of nature. You can see examples of her work on her photography web page.
As a parent of two children, Mark and Madison, Dr. Lide understands your childs fears and the concerns that every parent has. As a doctor, you will find her to be kind, gentle, and caring. She looks forward to many years of pediatric dental service to the Frisco community.

Paula has been in dentistry since 1990 and loves working with kids! She started her dental career in the United States Air Force, and is happy to continue working in a field she loves. Paulas goal is to make it fun for the kids to come to the dentist, which she does as she assists Dr. Lide with helping our wonderful patients. She wants our patients to grow up knowing that going to the dentist is a good thing, so when they are adults they have great memories of coming to our office.
Paul is married and has three children, as well as two fur babies. Her daughter works at Disneyworld, which is convenient as Paula is a huge Disney fan! Shes also a proud Air Force mom of her son who is serving in the USAF. Her youngest son is active in band and baseball, so she helps during marching season and cheers him on the field in spring.
After ten years in an administrative role, Tiana transitioned to the dental front desk, where she answers our phones, processes insurance, and presents treatment plans. She loves working with patients and seeing them smile, and appreciates the wonderful group of ladies she works with. Her positive attitude is infectious and carries over into all aspects of our office.
Tiana and her husband Matthew have been married for 20 years. They have four kids who keep them in constant motion. When they are not at drill team events, dance competitions, or baseball games, they are at home cuddling their two bulldogs, Gus and Rory. Some of Tianas favorite ways to give back to the community include meal delivery for Meals on Wheels or playing Bingo at Brookdale on Sunday afternoon.

All they care is only about money. My husband went there with my 7 yo son for a regular check up, no cleaning, no procedures. They estimated the total cost for the treatment at 700$. We went to another dentist for the second opinion, he said nothing is needed;)) So, we didn't do anything. Everything is fine with teeth now.

My kids love coming here and no longer have a fear at the dentist's anymore. The staff is very patient with the kids and ease them into any procedure that may make them nervous. I had some issues with the billing at one point but they took care of it and Dr. Lide followed up on my concern.

We had the best experience here with Dr Lide and her staff. Brought my reluctant 2.5 year old for a six month check up. The nurse actually took out time to explain what all the instruments do and had a creative story line for all the cleaning Dr. Lide would do. My hesistant and nervous LO happily complied and got all the check up done! Couldn't be happier. LO's first appointment at 2 at another facility was a total failure, cried the whole time! Definitely recommend Dr. Lide. She took her time and did a great cleaning while also giving us tips.

I took both of my children (2 and 4yo) for the first time on separate days and they both LOOOOOOVED IT!!!!!! From scheduling to the actual visit everything was smooth and super friendly. The hospitality and smiles at check-in to the super fun office space was exceptional. The dental assistants walked us both through the whole process and what to expect during our visit and future visits. They disarmed the children quickly by handing out their favorite character toothbrushes and inviting them to watch TV in the ceiling! Paw Patrol for the win!!!! Dr. LIDE was delightful, super patient and informative about sharing next steps as she went through the check-up and cleaning. They wrapped up the appointment with a balloon and a toy and my children couldn't have been happier! I'm so glad I found this office and look forward to my children growing up with Dr. LIDE keeping their teeth healthy!

Dr. Lide and her entire staff are a pleasure to work with. They have been caring for my son since he was a toddler, and they are very patient with his rambunctiousness. They've also been knowledgeable and attentive with a couple of his unusual dental circumstances. Highly recommend.

Dr. Lide and her staff are wonderful. We had our first appointment today switched from another office due to my daughter needing someone that was a bit more patient. They took the time to show her all of the tools and let her try them out. She was totally at ease and had a full cleaning without any tears. They are so patient and wonderful with nervous kids. My 2 year old is looking forward to her next visit !

I am way too old to still be going to a pediatric dentist. I need to switch. But I can't! Dr Lide and her team have been so so amazing to me and my family in the way they provide excellent service and care. They never try to hide any charges or give you something you don't truly need or want to pay for. I cannot day enough good things about this place and I am so sad for the day when I will have to find another dentist because I am convinced there are none like Dr Lide and the team at Frisco Pediatric Dentistry. If you are looking for a place to take your kids, there is truly no place better than here!

I have taken both my kids to Dr. Lide since they were old enough to have teeth. It has been 18 years and now both my kids must move on to an adult dentist. I will miss Dr. Lide and her staff very much. They are the most caring dental staff you will find. My kids were never scared to go to the dentist because of Dr. Lide's caring bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Lide for all your children's dental needs. They actually care about you and your kids! Thank you Dr. Lide and staff! We will miss you!

Still love this office!!! I have been driving from North Dallas to Dr. Lide's office for 15 years. Dr Lide and her staff are fabulous. Efficient, prompt and extremely friendly. Several years ago, we switched to a closer dentist for a yearly checkup - they told us my son needed a cavity filled. We were not happy with that office so went back to Dr. Lide for the appointment. Dr Lide got the X-rays from the first office & showed us what they considered needing a cavity. Dr Lide suggested just watching it. 5 years later - no cavity. Glad we stayed w/ Dr. Lide!

Dr. Diane and her staff were great! They made my son (about 2) feel so welcome and excited about his first visit. They spent time with him and asked him questions about what he likes and showed him all the 'cool' stuff in the office. The whole experience was easy and fun for both of us! We weren't ever rushed and they answered all my questions. We are excited to go back and I HIGHLY recommend Frisco Pediatric Dentistry to anyone needing a new kid-friendly dentist! So glad we found them.
