We support the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Dental Association (ADA) in the concept of a Dental Home the ongoing relationship between the pediatric dentist and the patient, including comprehensive oral health care, beginning no later than age one.
He has placed a tremendous focus in his practice on Preventive/Proactive Dentistry, which encompasses working with parents and increasing their Dental IQ. Dr. Rubin wants to increase awareness and help educate parents in anticipatory guidance of pediatric dental care in areas such as oral development, fluoride adequacy, oral hygiene and health, oral habits, nutrition, diet, and injury prevention. Parents are not always aware of the effect of nutritional issues, thumb-sucking, nail-biting and other oral habits may have on the development of teeth and gums, says Dr. Rubin.
Dr. Rubin has experience in hospital dentistry and in working with special needs children including work at both Childrens Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Hospital dentistry often entails extensive procedures including restorative and cosmetic work under general anesthesia, in an operating room environment. Special needs children have specific requirements, and Dr. Rubin has spent many hours of procedural work in hospitals and clinics with these children, working very closely with parents and the patients. He understands the need for a strong doctor/patient relationship and this partnership begins with the first visit and continues throughout the span of treatment.
Dr. Rubin is routinely selected for Texas Monthly Magazines Super Dentist and D Magazines The Best Dentists in Dallas. Dr. Rubin is also involved in childrens dentistry in other capacities on a local, regional, and statewide positions by serving as a co-founder to the Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, organizing and participating in the North Dallas Dental Societys Give Kids A Smile, serving on the Executive Board of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and he is the President of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Ashley Orynich is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who is dedicated to providing children and families with the highest quality of safety and care. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard Universitys John F. Kennedy School of Government, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She completed her post-doctoral pediatric dentistry training at the Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry, where she was the national American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Samuel D. Harris Health Research and Policy Fellow and completed an additional Master in Oral Science with a thesis on national policies affecting children.
She aims to serve children tenderly through purposeful connection and education. Her dedication to outstanding patient care involves collaboration with families to achieve safe, happy, and healthy results. Outside of the office, Dr. Ashley enjoys time with loved ones, singing, dancing and the ocean.

My daughter loves her visits to Frisco Kid's Dentistry. Dr. Sentelle always makes sure to communicate clearly with my daughter so she understands what is going on while also making it an enjoyable and fun experience! We also appreciate that we have had the same Dental Hygienist throughout our visits which creates familiarity and comfort for my daughter.

We've been going to Frisco Kid's Dentistry for 2 years now and we love the staff and dentists. We first found Frisco Kid's Dentistry after my then 3 year old broke her 2 front teeth when she fell at daycare. I called in a panic and was quickly put at ease by staff and was scheduled to see Dr. Rubin. They took great care of my daughter and were able to save one tooth and extracted the other. My now 2 year old loves going to get her teeth cleaned and visiting Cactus Jack, a staple on Frisco Kid's Dentistry.

Dr Rubin and staff have been treating my 2 year old since she was weeks old. We found Dr Rubin through online research of Drs who performed a specific laser procedure to fix a tongue tie. He and his staff were wonderful, understanding and patient. Dr Rubin has great bedside manner and understood the concerns of a new mommy and doing any sort of procedure on a new baby. We have continued to see Dr Rubin and the other Drs in the office as my daughters dentist. They are all great with kids. The attention to detail their staff shows is next to none.

Absolutely LOVE this office! We make a 45 minute drive for this office because they are absolutely worth it. We've been with Dr. Sentelle for 8 years and he is always so friendly and personable with my kids! The whole experience from front office to checkout is always smooth, on time, and very well coordinated. Everyone is on the same page and I've never had a single issue. As a bonus to cash pay patients: they offer a discount for paying by cash or check. (THANK YOU FKD!) Can't recommend more highly!!

Dr. Rubin and his entire staff are absolutely wonderful! They treat my kids as if they are their own. They are engaging, patient, and willing to take the time to get to know us. They worked so well with my son who chipped his tooth. He was squirmy and upset and they did the BEST job keeping him as calm as possible to fix his tooth. I can't say enough great things about them!!!

Love this place - can't say better things! My baby was not nursing well, so our pediatrician recommended a consultation for ties at FKD. They were able to see us, diagnose and correct her tongue ties the next day. The staff and Dr. Rubin were extremely kind and considerate throughout every step of the process. He explained medically the risks/rewards, with a compassionate perspective as a parent. The only negative is they do not work with Insurance providers directly, so you have to file a claim and to get reimbursed. Unfortunately, our Insurance provider made this process extremely difficult. I'm happy to say we received the reimbursement, but it took 4 months and diligence on our end. This is no fault to FKD - they were amazing, just not a process I can endure every time my kids go to the dentist. I hope they decide to change this in the future!
