Have you ever wondered why its necessary to get a filling in a childs primary teeth, also known as baby teeth, if they are going to fall out anyway? Some parents have this thought, and its important that you know that taking care of their primary teeth is just as important as protecting their permanent ones.

If youve been reviewing your health routine after the summer months, have you considered that your oral health plays a big part in your overall health and well being? Dont take your teeth for granted! Here are some reminders to boost your dental habits and set you on the right path to long-lasting oral health. Read on to find out more.

As one of the most common treatments for replacing a missing tooth or multiple missing teeth, dentures are a set of artificial gums and teeth custom-designed to fit your mouth and give you back the function of your teeth. Dentures can be full or partial, with the full ones designed to replace all of your upper or lower teeth and the partial ones made to replace individual missing pieces.

Did you know the most chronic disease in children is cavities? Even though your child may brush and floss daily, they might not be brushing as properly as an adult would or using the right amount of toothpaste. Also, consuming sugary foods and drinks contributes to tooth decay because bacteria in the mouth thrive on sugar and leave behind an acid that eats away at the tooths enamel. How can you help your child fight tooth decay?

Even though baby teeth do fall out, its still important to care for them, as they are critical to your childs dental health and development of their permanent teeth. As soon as the first tooth erupts, or breaks through the gum, you can begin setting good oral health habits. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child visit a dentist by the age of 1 or within 6 months after the first tooth erupts. Primary teeth, or as many people call them, baby teeth, begin to grow around 6 months of age. Daily cleaning and regular dental checkups will set your child up for a lifetime of good oral health.

A dental crown is a cap that goes over a damaged tooth with the purpose of restoring its appearance and functionality. This treatment is used for many different reasons, the most common being due to a large cavity that cant be fixed with a filling. If a tooth is severely decayed, weakened or cracked, a crown can help preserve and protect whats left of it.

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

I had a great experience here. The front office staff is warm and friendly. They are efficient in getting you registered and my wait time was less than 5 mins. My dental hygienist and the dentist were knowledgeable, kind and patient. I have found my dental home!

The adjustments lasted about a week and now my lower dentures fit worse. I have sore where it's rubbing.

I recently switched over to Frisco Dental and this was the best move I made. I love Dr. Donnell. She is professional, kind, and took the time to listen to my questions and explained things about my oral care in a way the was easy to understand. I cannot say enough about the staff .Vangie, Maria and Sandy are great. You will always be greeted in a friendly and professional way. They make you feel like family!!

Lots of new people each visit, poor management, lost files, poor communication. Not a happy client. Once my treatment is done Will get a new dental home to continue my dental service. I am not happy with the new staff but since I paid for my treatment. I have to finish my Invisalign. Again beware of turnovers every 6 months and new billing person. Been coming here since 2021 and so my changes are for the worst here.

Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming! Facility could definitely use a face lift and redecorating. I came in for a cleaning that did not fill very thorough. The DDS sure tried selling me a bunch of stuff for just having met me, assuming I was ready to jump on board and trust my mouth in her hands. Rapports need to be established before jumping a gun on expensive work. I have quite extensive work done and am well aware of what I need and don't need. Trying to sell someone on Invisalign that has 6 implants and 9 crowns is not one of the things at the top of my list, if it's even possible. I usually enjoy the dentist, even after all my mouth trauma. This visit was not ideal and one of my least enjoyable and fulfilling of dental appointments.

Submitted a form for a new patient special to set an appt and they have not responded / contacted me like they're suppose to. Not just that but they had a typo in price of $20 difference so clear someone is getting money mixed up which is not a place I'd let control my finamcials. Sad they didn't do anything with my request forms so we went to another dentist.

The lady dentist is rough and does not care if she inflicts pain. I don't ever intend to go back unless this dentist leaves.
