An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

My dental hygienist, Traci, was fantastic! My teeth haven't felt this clean in years! I keep up with my dental visits and I can usually tell a difference after my visits but this was a whole other level. She is VERY meticulous and gave great education on how to keep my teeth sparkling clean.

I'm one of those people that has always had anxiety about the dentist but today I have found my person - the BEST hygienist I've ever had Traci - ROH. I had to have a deep cleaning and she was patient, gentle, kind, thorough. I hope they do whatever it takes to keep her on board. The folks at FMD have always been kind and Traci is an excellent addition. I'll be a client for life as long as she's there

Friendly staff, knowledgeable doctors, and awesome hygenists. I admittedly hadn't gotten a cleaning in over a decade and had quite a bit of calculus build up, in one SRP (which sounds better than the acronym spelled out) Traci got my teeth to an immaculate state, and got me on my way toward healthier gums. Even stayed past 6 to do it! Thanks Traci! And thanks to Larry too for sticking it out til 6:30 to help me check out.

Friendswood Modern Dentistry is absolutely amazing!! Toni at the front desk is possibly one of the best humans as she answered several questions over several different phone calls, with compassion & patience. My husband and I both use Traci Adams as our hygienist and she is hands down the best! She always made sure that we were comfortable and not in any pain; we both have had dental trauma before and she eased all our worries. & Dr. Rangappa was just as amazing! We will always use Friendswood Modern Dentistry.
