Dr. Sierra joined his familys dental office in 2004 in Pasadena, TX and loves working with patients to improve their smiles and lives. Dr.Sierra grew up in League City, and graduated from Clear Creek HS. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Austin College. Dr. Sierra earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with research interests in Implantology.
Since his graduation, Dr. Sierra continues to take advantage of all learning opportunities. He has taken over 1,200 hours of continuing education. He is one of only a few dentists who has achieved the titles of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is also a Master of the International Dental Implant Association. Dr. Sierra is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Sierra has a passion for esthetic and restorative dentistry using digital 3D technology. He has served as a mentor at the Scottsdale Center and as a trainer and beta tester for CEREC CAD/CAM dental crowns and porcelain veneers. Dr. Sierra is also a preferred provider for Invisalign and Six Month Braces. Dr. Sierra is laser dentistry certified and uses laser technology in diagnosis, and treatment allowing for greater patient comfort and eliminating the need for anesthesia for many procedures. He is among 200 US Dentists trained in the trademarked NightLase procedure, which is a revolutionary non-surgical treatment to eliminate snoring as well as the trademarked Smoothlase, which is a natural, non-invasive treatment to reduce facial wrinkles by laser stimulating natural collagen formation in the face, cheek, neck, and lips. Dr. Sierra is also on the cutting edge in 3D printed surgical guided Dental Implant Surgery and All-on-Four teeth replacement solutions and has both level 2 conscious sedation (sleep dentistry) and nitrous oxide permits. Dr. Sierra holds advanced cardiac lifesupport, pediatric advanced lifesupport, and CPR permits.
Dr. Sierra is married to Dr. Crystal A. Sierra, a pediatrician at UTMB Pediatric Associates in Friendswood. They have two beautiful daughters, Gabriella and Francesca. Dr. Sierra enjoys spending time with family and traveling. He also enjoys crossfit, participating in triathlons, and running in marathons. He has completed 15 so far! He is excited to engage in the Friendswood community, and share his knowledge and expertise in the field of dentistry.
With two decades of dental experience, Kim joined our team in 2000. She has worked hard to build and maintain caring relationships with our patients and their families ensuring their dental needs are met and that every visit to our office exceeds their highest expectations. A native of Longview, TX, Kim studied at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, and she is a registered dental assistant as well as being certified in CPR and nitrous oxide administration.
Outside the dental office, Kim and her sweetheart have a large combined family that includes five grown children, six grandchildren, and two dogs. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family at their lake house. Additionally, Kim is an aviation buff! She has a vintage aircraft and enjoys taking it to fly-ins and air shows.
Tracie has more than two decades of dental experience, and joined our team in 2008. For Tracie, the best part of her job is seeing the transformation people experience when they restore their smiles to full form and function. Tracie studied at the College of the Mainland, and has completed numerous continuing education courses including training in CEREC software and dental implant restorations. Happily married for more than 23 years, Tracie and her husband are the proud parents of two children. Tracie loves to laugh and embrace life with her outgoing family. When shes not spending time with her family and building upon the strong Christian principles they live by, Tracie enjoys horseback riding, singing in the church choir, going to the beach, and relaxing during long weekends.
Joy brings more than a decade of dental experience to our dental office. She loves meeting new people, and works hard to ensure every patient is comfortable and relaxed during care. She trained in office to learn dental assisting prior to completing her registered dental assistant certification test. She is also trained in OSHA and CPR.
Originally from Cleveland, OH, Joy worked as a flight attendant before entering the dental field. She is happily married, and she and her husband have one dog. Joy likes art, cooking, and spending time with her family.
With more than twenty years of dental experience, Jill joined our dental office in 2014. She studied at Houston Community College and earned her dental hygiene degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. Jill is also certified in nitrous oxide administration.
A native of Friendswood, TX, Jill has been married since 2000, and she and her husband have one son. Jill loves traveling, snow skiing, swimming, playing sports like tennis and basketball, and doing trivia with friends and family.
Gaylyn joined our practice in 2020, bringing an impressive four decades of experience with her! After attending junior college, she studied at UT Dental Hygiene School. When asked, she said her favorite part of her job is the staff and patients.
Gaylyn is a wife, mother of three children, and grandmother to five grandchildren. When she isnt at the office or spending time with her family, she enjoys walking, doing needlework, shopping, and being at her church.
