Vu and the entire staff are dedicated to providing our patients with the best professional dental care. We are a general dentist office that offers specialized dental care such as orthodontics, cosmetic, and pediatric that is tailored to the specific needs of every patient.
My name is Dr. Tuan A. Vu. I was born in Vietnam and came to the United States when I was six. Growing up I enjoyed cooking, drawing, sports, and fishing. While in high school, I realized that my true calling is working in a profession that will allow me to help others.
I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and continued at the Medical College of Virginia to graduate with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, I spent the next six years working in private practice as an associate dentist in Loudoun and Prince William County. During my free time I enjoy volunteering at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic located in Falls Church and Sterling, VA.
As an adjunct assistant professor for the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry and the Medical College of Virginia, I have been involved with teaching and helping third and fourth year dental students during their clinical externship at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. Teaching has provided me with a great opportunity to share my love of dentistry with others and also it has given me a chance to give back to my profession. Ihaveattaineda Fellowshipin the Academy of General Dentistry. As a Fellow, I have been involved with dental missions and volunteering opportunities such as Operation Smile, Give Kids A Smile, Mission of Mercy, and talking to elementary students about dental health care.
Ive worked as a dental assistant for over 8 years and feel blessed not only for having the opportunity to do what I like the most (which is dentistry), but also for the opportunity to bepart of an amazing team that is professional and patient-focused.
My name is Julie Sell. I have been known to be identified as The Office Goddess, primarily by myself. I have been working in the field of dentistry for approximately ten years as an office manager in the Potomac Falls/Sterling area. I have been an Ashburn resident for 17 years. Prior to my work in the dental field I was working in the field of early childhood education. Leaving the corporate world, I became an co-owner of three local child care centers. I have always worked in service based industries where I believe I can have a material impact on the quality and service provided to the people I serve. My hobbies include reading, gardening, making jewelry, cooking (I mean eating), traveling back and forth to Minnesota to visit my parents, shopping, and of course spending hours and hours talking to insurance companies. To me it is very important to work with a dentist who puts the patients needs first, where high quality workmanship and quality care is valued and expected, and excellent customer service is given. I enjoy working in a relaxed, home-like atmosphere where we can put patients at ease. The name of our practice is not contrivedwe consider our patients friends and part of our dental family and treat them as such. I am thrilled to be working with Dr. Vu in Ashburn where I hope we will meet your dental needs for many years to come.

If you need a dentist, this is the one!! Very friendly, kind and gentle!! He will put your nerves at ease and the staff is very sweet as well. The office is clean and makes you feel at home...again, helps ease your nerves/anxiety. Dr. Vu is taking new patients. I definitely recommend!!

Had two front teeth filled and built back up with Dr Vu. He did an great job from start to finish! Those of you who hate needles will be glad to know that Dr Vu's novacaine injections don't hurt! His explanation of his planned procedure was very good and he worked in a very efficient way. What I thought might be 1.5 hours of time only took 1 hour. I'm so glad to have Teri and Dr Vu caring for my mouth!!

I'm been seeing Dr. Vu for years. He and the staff are very professional and friendly. Dr. Vu explains in advance what he is going to do and does it with care. I actually look forward to my visits.

I am the picky patient, the one with sensitive teeth, and mouth, plus a tiny mouth. I don't even like to have my teeth cleaned. Dr. Vu and his staff PATIENTLY care for me, and try to please me! Very accommodating, needless to say!

Dr. Vu is an excellent dr. Very knowledgable, kind, friendly, and professional. My disappointment was that I emailed twice to schedule an appointment and never received an email reply back. My schedule is pretty hectic and email is the best way to contact me. I was able to catch a break and make a phone call to see why I have not received a reply, and the receptionist claims to never receiving my emails if that is the case which I do believe can happen with the website emails, there was no apology for the error and no acception to help me get an appointment. It is unfortunate, I'll have to find a dentist last minute to squeeze me in before my schedule gets crazier.
