Vu and the entire staff are dedicated to providing our patients with the best professional dental care. We are a general dentist office that offers specialized dental care such as orthodontics, cosmetic, and pediatric that is tailored to the specific needs of every patient.
My name is Dr. Tuan A. Vu. I was born in Vietnam and came to the United States when I was six. Growing up I enjoyed cooking, drawing, sports, and fishing. While in high school, I realized that my true calling is working in a profession that will allow me to help others.
I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and continued at the Medical College of Virginia to graduate with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, I spent the next six years working in private practice as an associate dentist in Loudoun and Prince William County. During my free time I enjoy volunteering at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic located in Falls Church and Sterling, VA.
As an adjunct assistant professor for the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry and the Medical College of Virginia, I have been involved with teaching and helping third and fourth year dental students during their clinical externship at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic. Teaching has provided me with a great opportunity to share my love of dentistry with others and also it has given me a chance to give back to my profession. Ihaveattaineda Fellowshipin the Academy of General Dentistry. As a Fellow, I have been involved with dental missions and volunteering opportunities such as Operation Smile, Give Kids A Smile, Mission of Mercy, and talking to elementary students about dental health care.
Ive worked as a dental assistant for over 8 years and feel blessed not only for having the opportunity to do what I like the most (which is dentistry), but also for the opportunity to bepart of an amazing team that is professional and patient-focused.
My name is Julie Sell. I have been known to be identified as The Office Goddess, primarily by myself. I have been working in the field of dentistry for approximately ten years as an office manager in the Potomac Falls/Sterling area. I have been an Ashburn resident for 17 years. Prior to my work in the dental field I was working in the field of early childhood education. Leaving the corporate world, I became an co-owner of three local child care centers. I have always worked in service based industries where I believe I can have a material impact on the quality and service provided to the people I serve. My hobbies include reading, gardening, making jewelry, cooking (I mean eating), traveling back and forth to Minnesota to visit my parents, shopping, and of course spending hours and hours talking to insurance companies. To me it is very important to work with a dentist who puts the patients needs first, where high quality workmanship and quality care is valued and expected, and excellent customer service is given. I enjoy working in a relaxed, home-like atmosphere where we can put patients at ease. The name of our practice is not contrivedwe consider our patients friends and part of our dental family and treat them as such. I am thrilled to be working with Dr. Vu in Ashburn where I hope we will meet your dental needs for many years to come.

They provide gentle yet effective care. The lobby has sweet decor to match the seasons and gives a homey/ comforting atmosphere. There's also TVs at each exam chair if you want to watch TV instead of chat during the cleaning/ work. They keep a full array of technological tools to effectively make sure you're healthy.

Dr.Vu has excellent "bedside manner" and explains everything so well with a positive attitude. The office staff and dental assistants are friendly and capable, and I'm so pleased to have found them after a series of horrible experiences at my last dentist. I'm taking my daughter to Dr.Vu for her first dental exam next week, and I have complete confidence that they will make her comfortable and it will be an enjoyable experience.

Dr.Vu has excellent "bedside manner" and explains everything so well with a positive attitude. The office staff and dental assistants are friendly and capable, and I'm so pleased to have found them after a series of horrible experiences at my last dentist. I'm taking my daughter to Dr.Vu for her first dental exam next week, and I have complete confidence that they will make her comfortable and it will be an enjoyable experience.

So. I had a molar decide that it no longer wanted to be apart of the gang and decided to "break apart" from the group. I got a referral to Dr. Vu and am SO GLAD I DID! I don't think I am a very scared person, but teeth things can just be scary to me. I went in for a consult with Dr. Vu and he could have run away with a ton of my money, but instead, he did quite the opposite. He told me the pros and cons to each procedure he could do and then made a suggestion of what he would do if he were in my situation. He didn't make me feel bad about my broken tooth and actually told me that with proper care of my remaining teeth, I wouldn't miss it at all! His approach to the consult made me super excited to get that sucker out when the extraction day came around. I was nervous (who wouldn't be) but Dr. Vu really did go above and beyond explaining things and coached me the entire way through the procedure. He kept giving me, "You are doing great" and "You are going to feel pressure" so I felt in the know the whole time. The office staff is so personable and the waiting room is so inviting. Not like other dentist offices which are so sterile and depressing. I couldn't have been happier losing a tooth with Dr. Vu!
