Dr. Garber moved back to RI six years ago, after years of practicing dentistry in CT. He graduated with honors from the UConn School of Dental Medicine and is an advocate for general and dental health.
Dr. Burgner is a root canal expert. He has been practicing dentistry for 36 years, ever since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1982. He values personal care, and he always takes the time to explain treatments to patients. He lives in Whitinsville, MA with his family and enjoys cycling and kayaking
Donna has three decades worth of experience as a dental assistant and she has many years of experience with the latest digital scanning techniques to replace the need for traditional putty impressions. Donna lives in Warwick with her husband and spends her free time kayaking and playing with her two granddaughters.
Natalia has over two decades of experience in the dental field. She is an expert in managing office sterilization and taking 3-dimensional scans for Invisalign. She enjoys spending time with her family in Fall River, MA.
After completing her bachelors degree in 1988, Janet attended hygiene school at C.C.R.I. She has spent over three decades delivering quality and compassionate care. Janet lives with her Family in South County and enjoys reading, biking, hiking and running.
Blyndis has over a decade experience working in medical office management in the state of Rhode Island. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. She lives in Pawtucket with her husband and two children and enjoys traveling with her family.
Ana graduated hygiene school summa cum laude from Bristol Community College and has over a decade of experience as a dental team member in RI. Shes driven by her desire to promote oral health and shes fluent in English and Portuguese. Ana lives in Fall River with her husband and enjoys baking, listening to audio books and going to the beach.
Kaitlynn has served as an administrative and dental assistant in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and senior centers for over 5 years. She lives with her family in Cumberland Rhode and enjoys spending quality time with her son during her free time.
Carolyn graduated from the CCRI Dental Assisting program and has over 30 years of experience in the dental field. She understands all aspects of dentistry and dental insurance. Carolyn lives in East Providence with her husband, 2 kids and dog Jack and enjoys home improvement projects as well as spending quality time with her family.

Comfort is prioritized here. Sensitive patients do not have to fear the dentist chair, which means, that is great news for both children and adults. The very clean and sophisticated atmosphere reciprocates their professional and knowledgeable staff. My experience with this dentistry regarding questions has always been answered with thought and care for both my wellbeing and finances. For example I had a question about flossing correctly, next minute, I have a mirror and some floss in my hand with a guided tour. That speaks volumes. I have complete faith in DR. Garber and team and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need.

Very clean office and friendly staff. The DR has gone the extra mile in getting extra equipment to make us feel safe during these trying times as well. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Garber is absolutely amazing! I'm so glad i found them! The staff is so incredibly nice and I honestly can't say enough good things about them. I can't list all the names as i don't wanna spell them wrong but the office ladies are amazing. I've been so scared of the dentist and haven't gone in over 15 years, i have a lot that needs work on and they have been nothing short of AMAZING! I actually look forward to seeing them again and that says A LOT! If you can get an appointment you wont be disappointed! Truly the best thing i've done and i'm so glad they are the ones on this journey with me!

Very clean welcoming office. Workers are amazing, espexially the hygienist. Wish I got her name. So gentle and amazing with lil ones. I could hear her singing to my lil one while she was getting her cleaning done. So sweet.

My brother rendered me here being I have fear of dentist appointments and told me the staff including dentist here are amazing. I look forward to my visit soon. I was able to get in being new patient thanks to the help of Kaitlynn she was very professional and super sweet. I look forward to meeting my new dentist and the fellow staff.

I would recommend Friends and Family dental to anyone!! From day one my brother in law Fernando has had a GREAT experience with this office.The office staff cares for there patients and are so professional. They offer so many services right in one office. If your looking for a dentist go to them you will be happy!!!

He's a great dentist and I have had the best experience here. My only issue is the schedule fills up fast and so you're told one sort of timeline only for it to extend. It's a bit inconvenient and not ideal for anyone needing heavy duty restorative dentistry.

No one likes a visit to the dentist but after finding Friends and Family Dental the stress, anxiety and fear before an appointment has completely gone away for me. The staff here are AMAZING, educated, informative and they completely put you at ease upon your visit. Dr. Garber is excellent, caring and really aims for a positive client experience. The office is fresh, clean and has the best technology on the market. I had a tooth infection and was in the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I got right into the office and was taken care of instantly. I had my root canal with Dr. Burgner and Donna, they were excellent!! Donna was so comforting, calm and understanding she was constantly making sure I was as comfortable as possible. I felt instantly at ease with Dr. Burgner. He explained each step to me and made sure I was comfortable at all times. The root canal was a breeze and I seriously almost fell asleep in the chair. Before the weekend approached, Dr. Garber called me personally to check on me after the procedure and to make sure I was feeling good before the weekend. I felt so important and cared for. It truly shows how much he cares for his patients. If you are looking for a dentist look no further than Friends and Family Dental.

I had a cleaning done today with Janet, and out of the times i have been anywhere i have never had someone take the time to sit with me and describe everything to me, showing me x-rays, and pictures of my teeth and give me reassurance that i can walk away with a better feeling about my teeth. She doesn't make you feel so bad about yourself and honestly made me so comfortable tonight. Dr. Garber was also excellent, he stopped in after my x-rays, letting me know he would come back to talk about my treatment with me, when he did, i felt like a patient who was cared for. This office is so nice, and really caring. I hate the dentist and if i wasn't pressured to go to this appointment i would of never stepped foot in and i am just so glad i did.

10/10 recommend this office! Dr. Garber is extremely friendly and makes you feel very comfortable throughout your visit. The office staff is also very friendly and accommodating. This was my first appointment. My original appointment was not scheduled for another 2 weeks I had called the office hoping to get in sooner as I am 30 weeks pregnant and I was in Excruciating pain from my wisdom tooth. They originally were going to get me in the next day but were able to squeeze me in the same day because I wasn't eating and the pain was so bad. I had a very positive feeling throughout my entire visit from the moment I walked in to the moment I left!!!

If you are looking for a great dentist look no further, Friends and family dental is absolutely amazing, they are all so extremely friendly, great with kids of all ages and it's so clean and doesn't give you that scary dentist feeling when you walk in. I highly recommend this dentist..

A great experience at Friends and Family Dental. I can honestly say it was the best experience getting a root canal I've ever had. Absolutely no pain, and the technology used was incredible, definitely nothing like past experiences I've had elsewhere. The staff are so friendly and very accommodating. Dr Garber is very thorough and explains each process as it's happening. Super clean and such a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend.
