Navdeep Aulakh, DDS at Friendly Smiles Dental Care in Burke, Virginia, treating the surrounding areas of Lorton, Springfield, and Annandale, Virginia, as well, has been practicing Dentistry for the past 11 years.
After earning her undergraduate degree at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, Dr. Aulakh studied at the competitive Howard University in Washington DC where she received her DDS degree. Afterward, she worked as a public health dentist for Louduon County along with conducting and arranging annual dental screenings in County schools due to the enjoyment she found in working with children.
She bases her practice on building healthy relationships by giving each patient the time they deserve and making them feel like family. She founded Friendly Smiles Dental Care knowing that through education, you can achieve optimal oral health and improve your self-confidence.
Dr. Aulakh prides herself in putting patients first, which is why her practice is open on Saturdays, accepts walk-ins, and has generous payment plans. She wants everyone who walks into Friendly Smiles Dental Care is going to feel valued and informed about their treatment options before making a decision.
We are excited to have Dr. Phung ( known to her patients as Dr. Quyng) in our Friendly Smiles Family. Dr. Quynh grew up in Falls Church, Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia, where she graduated with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. She currently holds a dental license in Virginia and Florida.
With more than 30 years of experience, my patients can trust that the careI provide is as gentle as it is effective. I am so passionate about oralhealth, I also teach dental hygiene at Northern Virginia Community College.I have been happily married for 31 years and have two wonderful sons. Ispend my free time watching my boys play soccer whenever possible andgetting outside to walk my boxer dogs preferably on the beach!
Liz is our Dental Assistant who loves to meet new people and make them at ease when theyre in our Dental chair. She is a mother of one super adorable son and loves to spend time with him when shes not at work. She is bilingual in Spanish.

I have been coming here for a few years as has my son. They are always so professional and every experience for us has been a positive one. All the staff are so nice and friendly. I always suggest them to anybody looking for a dentist in the area.

Literally one of the best dentists I've ever been to. Dr. Aulakh had a plan set out to restore my smile (and be able to eat again!) as soon as I stepped in and everyone has made me feel so welcome despite all the issues I came in with. Dr. Quyng is equally as amazing, super kind and gentle. You can tell these doctors really care about you. And don't even get me started on the staff, Steffany and Liz are freaking amazing! I'm greeted with a smile on the other end every. time. as soon as I state my name when calling in to make an appointment. As you can tell, I am very grateful and happy that I have found such an awesome place so close to home. Thank you Friendly Smiles for restoring my smile! :)

Dr. Aulakh and team provide great service. They are very professional and all appointment are done in a timely manner. Personally I love that they are open on Saturdays which makes it very convenient with work on the weekdays and busy schedules. I highly recommend.
