Friendly Family Dental is a female owned Dentist office located in Clairemont Mesa San Diego, CA 92117. We are able to keep our fees affordable for our patients as we are a smaller team versus a large corporate chain. We believe in using proven modern technology that provides cheaper and cost effective dental treatment for our patients. We have three modern ops with digital x-rays and cameras. Our ops offer complete privacy. Each room is fully enclosed and separate from the other. We also play your favorite music during procedures.
Our patients can enjoy a cup of coffee or bottled water while they wait (for a short time) in our beautiful lobby. We also have several magazines and educational material for you to catch up on the news, celebrities or hobbies.
Dr. Henna was born in Flushing, New York and grew up in Long Island, NY. She received a Bachelors Degree from the prestigious Barnard College-Columbia University in 2003. At Columbia, she held leadership positions in Student Government Associations. She received a Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2008 from the prestigious New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry which is the third oldest and the largest dental school in the United States, educating nearly eight percent of our nations dentists annually. During this time she was a winner of the Presidents Service Award for distinguished achievements and service to the NYU community. After NYU, Dr. Henna completed a one year residency at Stony Brook University Hospitals School of Medicine where she was part of the emergency response team that treated several trauma patients. During her residency, she also volunteered for charitable dental trips abroad. Dr. Henna has practiced in New York, Chicago and various parts of San Diego. Dr. Henna is a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
Dr. Henna is married and a mother of twin girls. Her family enjoys traveling; visiting beaches, parks and various other outdoor venues that San Diego has to offer. Her kind and caring personality will be an asset to patients and the Clairemont community.

Everyone was super nice. Dr. Henna and Jojo were efficient, communicative, and make being a patient pretty easy. Upfront and reasonable with pricing as well, didn't try to upsell or do anything unnecessary.

Dr. Henna and Jojo make up the best team. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist until I started to see Dr. Henna! Now- I look forward to going to the dentist. Jojo is excellent at taking her time and explaining every detail. Dr. Henna is very knowledgeable and also takes her time and explains and answers all of your questions in the best way!

Let me start by saying I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years so connecting with people is so important to me no matter what line of work you are in. Not only did they knock that out of the park with smiles upmost professionalism I have to add that due to certain medical difficulties it's always been really tough to find a dentist that can assist me. They were so gentle and catered to all my needs . Unfortunately I am moving out of state and I say this in all seriousness that I will fly back to San Diego just to come do my dental work here.

Dr. Henna and staff are extremely professional. Her credentials are second to none and I trust her with my entire family's dental needs. Also, her office is so friendly and welcoming. We have benefited greatly from her care and expertise. When choosing a dentist, I believe it's worthwhile to seek the best. Dr. Henna certainly is one of the best and I hope to continue to bring my growing family in the ensuing years to come.

My experience here was unbeatable! The all-female staff (GRL PWR), was super knowledgable in each of their positions. Angela that works upfront knows everything there is to know about insurance, is extremely thorough when discussing paperwork, and is all-around incredibly friendly. JoJo, the dental assistant, is AMAZING! Like she makes it so you want to come to the dentist every day just so you can talk to her. Her jokes, experience, & friendliness make this office incredibly lucky to have her. And of course Dr. Henna is the best dentist around! She's patient, informative, gentle, kind, & very friendly. All around, it was an amazing experience and I would recommend them to everyone!

I went in to see Dr. Henna last month and it was the best experience I've ever had at the dentist! Going to the dentist is something that usually brings me a lot of anxiety but the entire staff at Friendly Family Dental made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I ended up needing to get a cavity filled and it couldn't have been a more painless process. Jojo and Dr. Henna were so amazing and reassuring, I actually felt relaxed and comfortable during the entire process and didn't feel a thing, not even the numbing shot. I will without a doubt be going back to Friendly Family Dental for all of my dental check ups and will recommend to all my friends in San Diego. Thank you ladies for your genuine kindness and outstanding service!

I highly recommend Dr. Henna to anyone looking for a dentist in the area. She really took her in time in answering all of my questions and providing me with information I needed. I've been to many dentists, and my experience at Friendly Fanily Dental has by far been the most time efficient and comfortable.
