Dr. Gomez obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (now called Rutgers Dental School). She then completed her General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center where she received extensive training in crown and bridge, pediatrics and dentures. Dr. Gomez loves to work on patients of all ages from 1-100!
Dr. Gomez participates in many continuing education programs. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society.
Dr. Gomez is looking forward to providing comprehensive dental care to the amazing patients of Friendly Dental. She boasts a genuine nature and cheery personality, and takes pride in treating every patient like family.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Gomez loves spending time with her 2 beautiful children, Ellie and Emmy, and her husband, Dr. Homsi. She also loves visiting her family in Staten Island, where she was born and raised.
Jeanne has been a dental hygienist for the past 20+ years. She attended NYC Technical College where she graduated with honors. She prides herself in her ability to develop a close rapport with her patients, giving them the attention and individual care they deserve, always providing gentle and thorough care. Jeanne has a passion to learn and takes many continuing education classes throughout the year. She is a proud mother and enjoys spending time with her son. She has 2 adopted cats named Tortilla and Kitty.
Gail ensures she meets the oral health needs of our patients through gentle cleanings, exams, and education. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with patients, and providing a valuable health service. Outside the office, Gail enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also likes going to church, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
Leslie has been a wonderful member of our team for the past 20+ years. She provides our patients with comprehensive hygiene care, including cleanings and periodontal treatment, oral cancer screenings, and home care instructions. Leslie has enjoyed getting to know our patients over the years and looks forward to meeting many more patients in the future!

Have had nothing but great experiences at Friendly Dental. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Both Drs. Homsi and Gomez are knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to walk you through the treatment process in detail and answer any question you might have. Would recommend this practice to looking for a good family dentist.

Was a Long time client of Dr Pete and Dr Paula for many years. I have to say since Dr Homsi and Dr. Gomez took over the practice, I am very impressed overall! Amaaaazing patient experience. They make you feel very comfortable every step along the way even if you have anxiety going into a dental office, they know how to handle special accommodations. I have severe anxiety with dental visits and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is seeking a great experience.

Friendly dental is exactly how it sounds, very friendly. They are so nice, always on time, Dr. Homsi It's an amazing dentist and their prices are very reasonable. They will work with you if you have no insurance. Leslie is my hygienist and she is fabulous! The staff is wonderful. Very warm and inviting. I recommend this office highly. Always a great experience! The dental assistants are absolutely wonderful! I recently was able to have a visit with Dr. Gomez and she was wonderful as well. Absolutely love this office!

There is no bigger coward than me at the dentist. But Once I'm there the staff makes me feel safe and they make sure I don't feel a thing. They really care about you. That's why I've been a patient for over 25 years

We've been patients here for many years, since Dr. Pete and Dr. Paula who have since retired. Now we are patients of Dr. Homsi and Dr. Gomez. While change is always a little nerve wracking, we still feel very comfortable here. Dr. Gomez recently completed two crowns for me and the whole experience was great (as good as a crown can be). She has a wonderful chairside manner and is very confident when she's working on you. Gail the dental hygienist is wonderful and so knowledgeable. The office staff is very nice and the office itself is immaculate. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to friends and family.

I had not been there for 2 1/2 years due to a transplant. From scheduling to the appointment to actually sitting in the chair, everyone treated me as if I had been there the day before. I drove from Queens from this appointment because of how great this office is!

The Team at Friendly Dental is exceptional. They are Professional, well organized, and offer the best of care. Always have the greatest in new ideas to make our visits fun and very comfortable. Even after moving around in NJ, it's worth my travel to receive the finest in care and comfort.
