Wanted to take the time to write a review about the WONDERFUL experience I recently had with Friendly Dental but ESPECIALLY Lauren.Although the entire staff were very pleasant,Lauren went over and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of.There was a minor mishap that had taken place with previous management that I also played a part in overlooking from the end of last year.After I called and made Lauren aware of what had taken place, she(along with the rest of the staff)went over and beyond to ensure that I was not only well taken care of, but also completely satisfied!!!Not only did she fit me in at the last minute, but she also was very prompt with addressing all of my concerns in a timely manner.In a world filled with chaos, it's good to know that there are still genuine good people out there with pure hearts.I am very appreciative of everything and would definitely refer family/friends to Friendly Dental.

I called to make an appointment last minute and they fit me in their schedule on the same day which was awesome. The front desk staff explain things very well and they have a discount plan for patients who don't have dental insurance. I saw Sara (dental hygienist)... she was thorough, polite, and my teeth felt so clean afterwards. The dentist (Dr. Ha) did my exam. The clinic has a great atmosphere and I recommend it for anyone.

I had an appointment scheduled on at 3pm. The day of, I got an email at 12:38pm to confirm it, and when I arrived at 2:57pm, the receptionist stated that the manager called to cancel it that morning. I did not have any record of that or a voicemail, and she refused to acknowledge that they might have made a mistake and kept insisting that it was my fault that I didn't get the phone call. They cancelled because they were short staffed, which I can understand as I have worked throughout the entire pandemic so I've been on the other side. My review comes from the lack of consideration that I had to take time off work and drive 30 minutes to the office for an appointment that got cancelled due to short staffing yet they were able to fit a walk-in right before me. It doesn't make sense that they can accommodate that but not someone who scheduled time to be there. They did not offer to reschedule or any sort of responsibility of their mistake and instead that I could wait until the other people with an appointment showed up and if they didn't, I could have that one. The receptionist was pleasant at first and then acted frustrated and short that I was concerned with being charged for a missed appointment as I had no record that it had been cancelled.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint that I have is that they could have saved me some money if they had looked at my implant before x-rays. They couldn't help me.

I was looking for a dentist after my recent move to Durham just for regular upkeep, and Friendly Dental Group of Durham was the perfect solution. Everyone was professional, kind, and thorough! Their dental discount plan is also helpful for those without dental insurance.
