As far as service goes, I've never had a more caring staff at a dental office. They completely blew me away by how friendly and understanding they are. 10 out of 10. 1st class and very professional!

I never write reviews but my experience today pushed me to say something. First, the wait was extremely long. It took over 90 minutes to get X-rays and a cleaning/check-up. The assistant even acknowledged the long wait but I didn't complain because I figured they were busy. The worst part of the visit was when Dr. Chimenti and the receptionist made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. After Dr. Chimenti checked my teeth and everything was fine, I sat waiting for someone to clean and polish them. I waited and waited until, out of the blue, a receptionist came to my room and asked if I wanted to do my cleaning another day. She explained that Dr. Chimenti felt that I was upset and may have wanted to leave. It was a slap in the face as I'd been perfectly polite with her for the few minutes she saw me. I told her that I'm fine, just waiting for my cleaning to finally begin. Dr. Chimenti returned to do my cleaning. I asked her why she felt I was angry, and she said it's because I "wasn't smiling" and that I should be more happy about the "beautiful day," her "beautiful assistant," and the fact that I "have no cavities." Why do I have to smile and be visibly happy at the dentist? She came across very rude. She gave no apology for the lack of professionalism from both herself and the receptionist. Also, even if I was in a bad mood, they should still do their job in a timely manner. Why suggest I leave? Her chair side manner was also a bit rough. I've never had a cleaning hurt that much. As I left, I brought up how uncomfortable I felt. The receptionists were apologetic but it still left a sour taste in my mouth. Long waits, rude staff, and rough service. I won't be going back.

This was my first appointment with Friendly Dental and I have to say this is by far my best dental experience yet. Everyone was so friendly and efficient, I almost fell asleep during my cleaning! My teeth never looked so good

Love, love, love this practice. From the moment I walk in the door the staff is friendly and welcoming. I am always greeted with a smile. Dr Chimenti is by far one of the most thorough practitioners I have ever worked with. She is super approachable and makes her patients feel very "at home". I would 1000000% recommend this practice to anyone especially those with dental anxiety.

Do not use this dentist. I've had 3 permanent crowns come out and this practice isn't interested in correcting their bad work. The front desk manager is unprofessional and rude. Do not let this practice work on your teeth. Very very bad experience

The staff took the utmost care, in cleanliness and my comfort. The hygienists are friendly and professional. I had an oral surgery planned this visit and was a bit nervous about it, but Dr C's skill, kind manner and professionalism set me at ease, instantly. She worked fast and efficiently, and I was in and out and about my day in no time- without pain. They also honored an insurance limit on my bill even though insurance doesn't cover most of this procedure. Friendly is my dentist!

Was kept waiting for over an hour and then felt very rushed as i was on a time limit myself by then. Hygienist seemed very good at her job but it felt like lot of pressure and hurt at times. Now lost part of a filling within 12 hours of being there-co-incidence?

I am not one to leave reviews, really ever, but after being a patient here for over 5 years and the experience I recently had I feel like it should be known to all. The receptionist was one of the rudest I have ever encountered. When I entered the building for my scheduled appointment I wasn't greeted. In fact, I was RUDELY asked if I had an appt. When replying "yes" I was then looked at like I was crazy for being there and then received an eye roll and look of disgust from the receptionist and then a "Well... what is your name?!" - I have never experienced anything like it. For her to treat patients that way upon entering the building is beyond unprofessional. In my experience, it's the receptionist's job to greet customers as they come in and make them feel welcome.. let's just say I thought about this for the rest of the day because it was so appalling. In addition to this, while the dentists here are kind to work with, they spend all of 30 seconds looking at your teeth before sending you on your way. No explanation, no treatment recommendations, no nothing. They want you in and they want you out. I don't feel like my teeth were properly cleaned.. waited a YEAR for this appt because my last was cancelled due to COVID.. one would think it would have been time for Xrays and a cleaning that lasted longer than 20 minutes. Finally, on my way out of the door, I asked for a referral to a different office (one closer to me as I have moved and have been driving 30 minutes to this office for the last 2 years) and the same receptionist kept the attitude going by letting me know I could go to Google to find that. Literally appalled by this!!! I can't express her rudeness enough!!! Bad day or not, it's her JOB to make customers feel welcome and taken care of.. Needless to say, I am seeking a new dental office, this place and their staff need some additional training. My boyfriend, who has also been a patient here for over 5 years will also not be returning.

Feedback is a dynamic description of one's experience. For instance, I was waiting for 50 minutes couple of days ago, while I was counting number of patients walking out of the dental office. That gave me an idea about the "busy" factor. On the other hand, sometimes all happens normal and I had a good experience. It is expected that the Doctors to provide an educational talk on oral health, treatment given and care to be taken at the end of a procedure. How appointments are scheduled is an interesting process to map and find out the reasons for patients waiting. Difficult to comment either way. Someone apologizing 10 times for you waiting does not change the end result. Dr. Heidenreich is a very good dentist. Patient asking logical questions should not be taken as "challenge". Facts should rule over the perception.

Great experience! Front desk was very warm, inviting and knowledgeable and my hygienist was amazing! I left wondering why I put off going to the dentist for so long and I'm looking forward to coming back!! If you're looking for a dental office, Friendly Dental Ballantyne is the place to go!

I love this practice but more importantly I love and trust my dentist Dr. Chimenti. I have had extensive dental work from her and she takes her time answering my questions or concerns. She is friendly, knowledgeable and shows a true interest in my teeth as her patient. I would recommend her 10000%! I normally don't take the time to do reviews but Dr Chimenti is so amazing I needed to spread the word!

My family and I have been going here for years, for our regular cleanings and care, but recently I had to have a more complicated procedure performed and Dr. David Heidenreich handled creating a temporary tooth for me and attaching it to my implant. It's an exact match to all my other teeth and he had precision attention to detail. Dr. David Heidenreich's bedside manner is always outstanding! I highly recommend him as well as friendly dental!
