Dr Duy Ly and Dr Ngoc Nguyen are a husband-and-wife dental team committed to providing patients of all ages with quality dentistry in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. They believe that the best doctor-patient relationships are built on trust, respect, and open communication. The demand for good dental care has grown since their opening in 2013, so Friend-Ly Dentists has now expanded their doctor team. Their compassion and philosophies in dental care is also now served by their nephew, Dr. Uan Nguyen, and their good friend/ colleague Dr. Minh Luu.

In addition to staying up-to-date on the latest dental treatments and technologies, he is an active member of the American Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and Texas Dental Association. Although he loves the technical side of his profession, his favorite thing about being a dentist is getting to make people smile every day.

In his free time, Dr. Ly enjoys playing basketball, traveling, reading up on new technology, and exploring new restaurants with his wifeDr. Nguyen. Now a father of three, his favorite pastime is spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Nguyen completes numerous continuing education courses each year in order to provide her patients with the most comfortable, effective, and state-of-the-art dental care possible. Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Nguyen grew up in Portland, Oregon, the eighth of ten siblings.She loves dentistry because it givers her the opportunity to help serve the community and improve dental health awareness.Dr. Nguyen completes numerous continuing education courses each year in order to provide her patients with the most comfortable, effective, and state-of-the-art dental care possible. Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and Texas Dental Association.When shes not at the office, youll find Dr. Nguyen traveling, camping, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and son.

Dr. Uan Nguyen is originally from Ridgefield, Washington in the cold and rainy Pacific Northwest. He comes from a family of 7 children as the oldest son. He has been to every corner of the US including Washington, Maine, Florida, California, Massachusetts and now Houston, Texas. He attended and graduated at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. He then obtained his doctorate degree in dentistry at Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

His immediate goals is to practice as an associate general dentist and to learn as much as he can from his dental family. He feels no matter how much experience or knowledge one has there is always more to learn. He hopes to change any bad experiences his patients may have had at the dentist with good ones. The best way to start is at a young age.

He eventually wants to start his own practice and may even settle his roots in Houston someday. Portland and Seattle are some of his favorite cities where you can experience all the seasons of the year as well as enjoy the tremendous views of the mountainous terrains, but Houston has grown on him.

Outside of dentistry Dr. Uan likes to travel as much as he can. His interest include anything computers/technology, sports, and anything outdoor related. His favorite teams are the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers, but he enjoys watching the Texans, Rockets, and Astros as well.

Digital X-rays emit less radiation than conventional X-rays and use smooth digital sensors instead of sharp X-ray film. Because digital X-rays dont require lengthy chemical processing, the images are available on our computer screen within seconds.

We use standard and panoramic (360) digital X-rays in most dental exams, because many serious problems with the teeth and facial bones cant be seen during a standard visual exam. X-rays give our Spring dentists the ability to diagnose:

Digital photographs taken with our intraoral cameras give us a clearer view of areas that can be difficult to see in a standard visual exam, especially the back molars. These high-resolution images are also a vital patient education tool, enabling the doctors Ly and Nguyen to show you exactly what they see during your dental exam.

Before your visit, we thoroughly sanitize each treatment room and disinfect every piece of equipment using state-of-the-art sterilization technology. We also perform routine spore testing through an independent third-party laboratory to ensure that all of our sterilization equipment is working properly.

We have updated our technology and equipment to surpass all recommendations by the CDC. This includes having air purification and filtration devices, High Speed Aerosol evacuation, and physical barriers. Melding our patient treatment philosophy with our technology, we are able to text and engage patients in a near CONTACTLESS manner!
