What is a Digital Dental Practice and How can it Benefit You?Many dentists are adopting new digital technologies. Digital x-rays are a good example; they reduce time and radiation exposure dramatically for patients compared with traditional x-ray film. At Friedman Dentistry, we have now transitioned to a total digital approach in every facet of patient care. New digital workflows have improved our precision, reduced chair time and ensured that patients receive the most comfortable experiencepossible. Our motto is 'Experience the Difference' and at Friedman Dentistry, going totally digital has elevated our ability to improve patient comfort even further than before. That makes patients very happy and it puts a big smile on our face as well.
Digital Impressions: Nobody enjoys dental impressions because the materials are gooey and often cause gagging. Digital impressions with our iTero laser are highly accurate and gag-free. Impressions are as quick and easy as photographs of your teeth. Seeing your scan in 3D helps you to better understand the condition of your teeth and gums.
Digital Photography / Videography:Monitoring oral health and making an accurate diagnosis requires documentation or oral conditions beyond what can be determined by x-rays alone. We include high-resolution digital photography and videography to supplement patient records. Subtle changes to gum tissues, tooth structure or existing dental restorations can be detected by comparing photos and video over time. The earlier we identify a potential problem, the easier and less costly corrective measure can be.
Digital CAD-CAM:Historically, dental laboratories fabricate crowns, bridges, veneers, night guards, dentures, etc. Dentists often complain about poor fit, poor color, poor esthetics and late lab delivery all of which are problematic. However, computer assisted design software and computer assisted milling machines are replacing lab procedures done by hand. Our in-house Versamill 5X200 allows us to fabricate all types of dental restorations with superb accuracy and control. We are now off the grid from dental labs and our professional fees have been reduced since switching to CAD-CAM manufacturing.
Digital Local Anesthesia: Many patients report high anxiety associated with dental anesthetic injections. Research reflects that fear of injections prevents a large segment of the population from seeking regular dental care. At Friedman Dentistry, we have changed that perception with the aid of a computer controlled, digital device for administering local anesthesia. The Wand utilizes precision technology that makes a painful injection a thing of the past and often without any sensation of numbness to the lips or face.
Linda was raised in Tennessee and earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Mohave Community College in Arizona, where she was a member of the full-time faculty. In 2012 she relocated to Southern California for the healthy lifestyle, diverse food and countless outdoor activities. We are delighted to have added Linda on our team because she shares our commitment to excellence. A native of North Hollywood, Sandy earned her dental hygiene degree from West Los Angeles College which is recognized for its outstanding educational programs in dental hygiene. She has been a team member at Friedman Dentistry for nearly 20 years and we are very grateful for that commitment. Sandy is an avid swimmer, cyclist and runner and she also enjoys cooking for family and her many friends. Her homemade sweet delights areparticularly popular withour staff. Sandy's long-term patients know that her availability is very limited, but if you schedule with her well inadvance, you will experience an outstanding care experience from a highly skilled dental professional.
A native of Portland, Oregon, Kayla loves living in Los Angeles where the weather is warmer and there is so much to do. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from The Pacific University School of Dental Hygiene where she also participated in varsity basketball, softball and cross country. Kayla enjoys Thai food, outdoor concerts and anything sweet (including herfianc Jake). Kayla's patients speak highly about her professional skill and gentle touch. Dr. Friedman is the best dentist I have had in my life. He does the best work, and he doesn't do anything that is unnecessary, and he will usually tell you that something is fine and not needed yet, but perhaps down the road.

Experience the difference.. This dental office went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my dental needs. From the friendly voices answering the phone to the smiling faces when I arrived, the attention to detail was as exactly what I was looking for. Private, clean, high tech rooms, a thorough explanation of my dental health & they even validate the parking for 1 hour (as we all know parking at some places can be difficult). If you're looking for an unforgettable dental office... look no further.

I've been with dr Friedman for many years! One of the few quality dentists that I feel are left in Los Angeles! He guided me in the right hands when I went through reconstructive jaw surgery and I am forever thankful for all his help with having the knowledge to know what was wrong in my situation! I don't think many other dentists would even know what to do with my case! my situation proves why he's the best...highly recommended!

I love this dentist! It's by far the nicest, safe and high tech dentist office I have ever been to. The staff is all incredibly friendly, gentle and they do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. You can select which dentist you'd like to see for your cleanings. They offer fresh cookies after your appointment, they have headphones and netflix screens during the entire appointment, parking is easy, and the whole experience from start to finish to A+.

As someone who hates changing doctors/dentists, I have to say I am SO GRATEFUL that I took a chance on Dr. Matt! Hands down the best dentist office I've ever been to. Friendly and experienced staff who did anything to make me comfortable, absolutely incredible state of the art office, and the option to watch Netflix while receiving treatment! I would highly recommend Dr. Matt to anyone looking for a friendly/ experienced Dentist.

Mark Friedman is AMAZING! Simply the best! Their office and staff are creme de la creme. If you want an experience where you actually look forward to going to the dentist, this is the place to go.
