Dr. Glenn Frial has practiced orthodontics in Laguna Niguel for more than 25years. The son and grandson of dentists, Dr. Frial saw first-hand from a young age how important a smile could be in a persons life. He works hard every day to give patients a smile that will change their lives.
Dr. Frial grew up in the Orange County area. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he received a Bachelor of Sciencein biology. Dr. Frial also attended dental school atUCLA, where he graduated at the top of his class and received numerous honors and awards.
After his dental training, he went on to specialize in orthodontics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).At UCSF, he earned botha postdoctoral specialty certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in oral biology.
With all the new advances in orthodontic treatments and technology, Dr. Frial feels it is important not only to meet but to exceed the standards of orthodontics. He continuously strives to use the most advanced techniques available. In fact, he wasa consultant and clinical evaluator of new orthodontic products for 3M Unitek, a leading orthodontic manufacturer, for over a decade.
Dr. Frial is a pastassociate professor at the UCLA orthodontic program. He taughtat UCLAfor 10 years. He was voted Orthodontist of the Year by the editors of Consumer Business Review. For several years running, Dr. Frial has been voted a Top dentist as an orthodontic specialist by his peers. He is an orthodontic expert for Findatopdoc.comandwas also nominated Best Orthodontist by Best of LA as seen on KCOP13 and ION30.
Dr. Frial and his wife Carmela have two sons, Zachary and Joshua. Theyve enjoyed living in the Laguna Niguel community for the past two decades. Dr. Frial loves spending time with his family whenever possible and is an avid sports fan.
Dr. Frial feels that is it important to give back to the community, so he serves as a role model both in and out of the office. He has been a guest speaker for Career Day and Drug Awareness week at the local schools, and has coached, umpired, and sponsored several local sports teams. He is a past board member for the Rancho Niguel Little League and he continues to volunteer as a district umpire as well as train new and returning umpires. He loves to umpire the Tournament of Champions and All-Star games. He has had thehonor of umpiring several State Championships.

Dr. Frial and his team are the best. My case was a difficult one that involved double jaw surgery and I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Frial after the first visit. He took the time to explain what needed to be done, how he was going to do it and how long it would take. He worked closely with my surgeon and dentist to provide me the best care. He did more than just make my teeth straight. He improved my self confidence and gave me a smile that I only dreamed of. I can't leave a review without mentioning the front staff. Probably the best front staff I've ever dealt with at any dentist and doctors office. They were always so friendly, prompt to schedule my appointments, answer any administrative questions and did an awesome job at keeping the office safe during the pandemic (which is when I started treatment). They all really make you feel like family.

I truly recommend Frial Orthodontics for your Orthodontics treatment. Beginning with cost estimate, very honest and easy to understand preparation of the estimate, breaking up insurance contribution and your contribution without confusion. Along the schedule of payments, actual payments matched the estimate. I'm mentioning that because, per my experience, you can't take that for granted in general with any given health provider. Also, the scaling of options and their pricing were reasonable and made sense, e.g. metallic bracing vs clear bracing vs Invisalign. I've heard of friends that showed me their children' estimates and the scaling of costs just didn't make any sense. Continuing with an impression of very professional and experienced doctors, that offered thorough explanations prior to and during the treatment. And in addition to all that, very warm and helpful admin personnel (Carmela and Grace), making appointment scheduling very easy and pleasant, and flexible. Finally, the office/facility is nicely built and in very good condition, and within a modern and gorgeous business building.

My son just completed his orthodontic treatment and had amazing results at Dr. Frial's office. I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Frial and his entire staff. We never had to wait past our appointment time and Dr Frial always made time to speak with me at the end of each appointment to let me know how my son's treatment was progressing. Grace and Carmella, the front office girls, are both super sweet and helpful with insurance questions. Dr. Frial explained the entire process very clearly at our consult appointment and I am very pleased that all phases of treatment went exactly as planned. If you are looking for a detail-oriented, ethical, and very skilled orthodontist look no further!

My daughters teeth had a huge improvement after having her braces with Dr. Frial. Everyone is so polite, kind and always update you ahead of time before your appointment. The place is neat, clean and comfortable. I am grateful with all the staff and team. I would definitely recommend them to anyone i know.

It has been such a pleasure having Dr. Frial and his team help us with our son's orthodontic needs. From the very first time we met them all of their office staff including his wife, Carmela and Grace have been most gracious and kind. They are meticulous in keeping their office and their patients safe during Covid and it continues still. Dr. Frial explains everything in detail and whenever we have a question or concern his expertise has put us at ease. Dr. Frial has given our son a brand new smile, thank you. We would highly recommend friends and family to his office.

Both my children have finished phase 1 with Dr. Frial. He is very kinds, his staff are amazing, the office has hours that accommodate working parents, and they are ALWAYS on time! Most importantly though, my kids' teeth look fantastic. One had some major rearranging that needed to happen, and the end result is beautiful. We will be back for phase 2 when the time comes. As far as cost, Dr. Frial is very reasonable, especially compared to orthodontists we spoke to in Irvine.

We visited Dr Frial for an expander and two phases of braces for our child; she now has a perfect, beautiful smile and actually gets compliments from strangers on her beautiful teeth! Dr Frial's office is always welcoming and so easy to work with. Dr Frial always makes sure every step is going as expected and makes sure we leave with every possible question answered... and know what is coming next. We will be visiting him again soon for our second child.

Dr. Frial is AHHMAZING! I have had major orthodontist work in the past, all of which landed me in Dr. Frial's office, but honestly, I couldn't be happier I did! My smile is stellar and it's all because of Dr. Frial! Second time around with Dr Frial and again another amazing experience. The team over there are very professional. They walk you through the process and answer all your questions. Both times have been very smooth for us. We've made after hours calls and been looked after or fit in for necessary appointments. We have to drive quite far to get over there and we really appreciate NEVER being kept waiting on arrival. Most importantly Dr Frial gets very good results and is incredibly knowledgeable in his field. They give you a timeline and it's real. Highly recommend Frial Ortho!

Wow!!! What a genuine, caring, hard working, highly skilled, punctual, fair priced excellent Orthodontist. We just finished our third set of braces for our 3rd child and if we had another we would take them here, too. I interviewed 4 highly recommended orthodontists in the area before choosing Dr. Frial's orthodontics practice. Dr. Frial and his staff explain everything, no gotchas or hidden surprises, and they stick to a plan while allowing flexibility as everyone is different. Through the pandemic they surpassed expectations adding special filtering units, only allowing one patient inside at a time, taking temps, and other safe guards. Dr. Frial also teaches at UCLA which made me very confident that he is up to date in all the latest techniques and procedures. To top it off we were always greeted with a smile!

Dr Frial's office was very good at explaining brace options, benefits, and timeframes. The office was flexible with rescheduling appointments and the reminders were very helpful. His attention to detail provided a comfort level that I was receiving very good treatment. Happy to recommend him and his staff.

My 13 year old son recently had braces removed and his smile is priceless. Our experience dealing with Dr. Frial and his staff was second to none. Always so professional and friendly in the way he walked us through the process. My son was very hesitant going into the process, but was extremely complimentary of Dr. Frial's kind mannered and professional way of doing his job. The staff was always responsive to meet our needs and very efficient in conducting business. We only wished we were aware of Dr. Frial prior to having our older daughter's braces placed by another local doctor. Not a very positive experience. Bottom line, we were 100% satisfied with the work of Dr. Frial and we highly recommend his practice.
