Dr. Matt Freyer is a careful listener known for his calm and relaxed demeanor. His goal is to make his patients feel treated like family. Dr. Mark Chase started the dental practice at 84th & Center as Family Dentistry in 1992 and was much beloved by his patients. Dr. Freyer acquired the practice in 2017 and has been working to preserve the legacy of friendly, compassionate care with a high level of attention to detail.
Dr. Freyer grew up in Omaha. He received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State and a MS in Engineering from Penn State. He worked as an engineer in Lincoln for 5 years prior to pursuing a career in dentistry. He graduated first in his class from the UNMC College of Dentistry and has been recognized by the American College of Dentists for demonstrating ethical principles and leadership. He began his dental career practicing with Midlands Dental Group in and around the Omaha area.
Dr. Freyer has a wife Molly, and two children Maya, 9, and Nolan, 6. Among other things, he enjoys cycling, running, cooking, playing guitar, and spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors with his family.
Dr. Freyer is a member of the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, and Omaha District Dental Society. He participates in the Iowa Mission of Mercy and Nebraska Mission of Mercy. He loves continuing education and continues to stay up to date, bringing patients the newest proven practices, techniques, and materials.
Monica has been a valuable part of our dental family since 2010 and has been working in dentistry for two decades. Youll most likely meet Monica at some point because shes in charge of answering phones, verifying your insurance benefits, and scheduling your visits with us. One of the things Monica says she loves about the work she does is seeing a patient no longer live in fear of seeing the dentist. If Monica wasnt working in the dental field, her ideal dream job would be working as a tour guide in Hawaii. Our team and our patients love Monica because shes always dependable, thoughtful, loyal, funny, and perceptive. When shes not busy at the office, Monica is usually spending time with friends and family, walking, and camping. Shes the proud mom to four kids and two grandchildren.
Cinthia has received certifications for radiology and polishing from the Creighton School of Dentistry. She loves taking care of you and your smile, making sure every visit and cleaning is comfortable and stress-free. Cinthia loves dental assisting because it gives her the ability to learn something new every day, with no two workdays ever being the same. Working with our team, we take our time to truly get to know you and your smile needs. So, Cinthia also loves meeting new people and hearing all of their amazing life stories. Cinthia says shed probably be working with animals in some way if she had not chosen dental assisting for a career. Youll find that Cinthia is fun-loving, caring, hard-working, and always caffeinated. (Red Bull is her go-to!) Outside of work, you might find Cinthia spending time with her family and two dogs.
