Like everyone else here I was very hesitant because of how many bad reviews but at the end of the day everyone gets a different experience. I loved the whole experience. The stuff was friendly and made us feel comfortable all the time we were there. My sons procedure was schedule at 6am and we were able to be out at 8am. Yes, it's very scary to see your kid after they're waking up from anesthesia, mine was fussy and disoriented but it's normal. We never got rushed out of the place and they were very helpful. When we were able to go home one nurse takes you all the way to your car in a wheelchair so you never stop holding your child. Very happy with my experience.

Starting from the appointment to the staff and the whole experience, everything went smooth.yes it's very scary having to take a child to this place, but let's be honest we wouldn't have to if we made better choices for them.overall i can say the least likeable thing was the wait at the beginning which can be overwhelming for a toddler.

I was very hesitant to come here because of all the BAD REVIEWS but from my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE they did a GREAT JOB with my 2 year old. I was so nervous that she was going to be put under general anesthesia but the doctor and the nurses and the people at the front desk made it comfortable with the whole process. Before going in they told me it can take 3-4 hours so be prepared but It took alittle over 2 hours for the entire process then we went home . I was surprised how quick it was. But they did such a great job with it all. I feel like the people with bad experience must've had a more severe case that's why they waited so long or whatever the issue might be. Based off reviews I judged this surgery center without knowing myself but having to experience this place , I'm glad I decided for my daughter to come here ! I notice with the bad reviews people are complaining about the long wait times because they were scheduled in the afternoon, sorry but you are told ahead of time you'll wait 3-4 hours or so be prepared. I was told that when you are scheduled in the afternoon it can take a bit longer then the mornings. I wish people can understand you can't rush the doctor or nurses when their putting your child under anesthesia and starting the process.. I guess every experience is different but to me Everyone there was polite and nice!

I was reluctant to come here for my daughter's cavities since the reviews weren't great, but I honestly had a completely different and positive experience. All the staff from the receptionist, the nurses, the anesthesiologist, and the dentist were incredibly nice and informative. I had my daughters primary dentist send her referral on Friday and the office called the following Monday to schedule her to be seen all in the same week. I actually got a call that there was a cancellation and she could be seen earlier so I had no issue with the scheduling process. We got checked in by 8 and she was in the back having her procedure around 9:15 and we got checked out to leave around 10:45/11. I feel that the wait time was more than normal. The Dentist talks to you after they take x rays and shows you on a screen exactly which teeth they will work on and what he plans to do. The procedure itself was fast, around 30mins, and the staff keeps you updated the whole time. While your child is under you stay in an open waiting room where you can hear when they wake up from anesthesia and then a nurse calls you over to calm them down. The nurse who helped me when my child woke up was named Gail and she was very patient and explained my child's behavior is normal since they are usually confused waking up. Once your child is up you sign your dispatch paperwork while the nurse goes over aftercare procedures then you are on your way. They definitely don't kick you out right away- I was told I could stay as long as I wanted but I chose to leave and they wheeled me and my daughter out to our car so I could continue holding her on my lap. The only negative is just 1 parent is allowed to be there and that's tricky when your kid wakes up flustered and you're trying to calm them down and sign paperwork. Overall I'm definitely going to try to not come here again, but if my kid ever needed more work done, we'll be coming here.

I was sent here by my son's dentist because he needed treatment done that he would not let them do over there. We've been waiting since February and now it's April. Just been getting the run around, saying the person you are supposed to talk to is not there, they on a lunch break and will call you back and we were always reaching out to them, also that they need insurance information which I provided several times. So I was curious and looked up reviews on this place. I got nervous and thought maybe it was a good thing that it took 2 months so we can find another place. I told my son's dentist about this situation and they did not like hearing what we were going through. They told me they will send us to Kids Dental Group in Hanford. BEST DECISION EVER so glad we switched. We got an appointment 3 weeks later. Kids Dental Group in Hanford is kid friendly and the environment is so welcoming! Nice big fish tank and walls painted it was so nice in there. I wish I would of read the reviews first so I could tell my son's dentist to find us another place so his dental work could be done.

Perfect. For those reading reviews these people were frustrated only at the wait time. For us there was a bit of a wait time but nothing compared to some surgeries I've waited on. Plan was explained before anesthesia. After xrays DDS came in and explained and SHOWED me why things needed to be done. A bit difficult to understand (perhaps because of my medical problems) but repeated himself until I understood (THANK YOU). Anesthesiologist was perfect despite MY child not doing the best with sedation. Nurses are phenomenal. A local was used for pain. My suggestion for this place is to book one less patient an hour because I couldn't imagine the wait times for afternoon appointments, the longer the wait the more frustrated the child the more frustrated the caregiver.

I wish I had taken the time to read these reviews. The one star is for the employees i feel are too good to be working there. If you are able to stay away from this place please I urge and beg you to do more research on finding a better place for your child best concern. I saw things no parent should ever see and im severely traumatized from the whole experience. My wait time was 2 hours. I went in believing it that my child's cavaties would be filled with white fillings because that is why the dentist sent us here. They put my child to sleep before even discussing a treatment plan and even though I asked for a different procedure they still performed the one they suggested. One of the crowns is crooked. I believe they did more work than necessary and I feel I was not given enough time to decide what would happen. I was not aware they don't allow parents in while their children are getting work done. They didn't allow my child to fully come to their senses before rushing us out. Your children will leave this place kicking and screaming and in so much pain. No child or parent should be traumatized in that way. I don't know why dentists refer this place, do not come here.

I honestly liked the courtesy from the whole staff, didn't take long to be seen on either of the 2 times I took my daughter. The dental procedure took a reasonable time and I am very thankful with every person we had contact with .

The dental work is fine took care of my child was a really long wait but my issue is actually getting the receptionist to answer the phone (called 12 times in a row) and when you finally get them on the phone they act like you are making them work sighs under their breath and give you the run around or attitude.

Horrible wait time. 3 hours after my daughters appointment and still left waiting. Go somewhere else if possible!

My daughter was referred to have 1 tooth pulled, when I got there the doctor came out and suggested that I should have two other tooth pulled. Trusting the doctor I allowed the procedure. If I could go back in time I would never let my daughter go through with the procedure they suggested. Know exactly what your child was referred for and only allow the Dr to do just that. Watching her roll out on a gurney and a tube coming from nose, is still one of my biggest regret. No child should have to experience at such a young age. In addition to this traumatic event my daughter ended up with a fever, which they did mention would happen. I watched her suffer for two days and developed an ear infection. DON'T ALLOW THEM TO DO MORE THAN WHAT IS NECESSARY. Just say no.

Terrible place!!!!!. My daughter had an appointment at 12pm due to her age. Even if they have openings earlier they won't schedule her earlier. It's 3:45pm and we are still waiting, I go ask how much longer and the receptionist said 1:30 hours more because the dentist just started with a patient. Really??? 5 hours or more to be called even with appointment??? This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!! At this point my child is crying because she is starving since they have to fast... we had to re schedule after all that waiting. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!

They got my son's work done all in one day. Staff was nice, and no kids screaming makes for a better experience. Less traumatizing for the kids.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I went for our appointments. These dentists are obnoxious at best for running a practice this way. First appointment we waited close to an hour for 2 pictures to be taken(about a 2 minute procedure). Second appointment was for the anesthesia procedure. I reiterated over the phone that my daughter is autistic so o eating and drinking was going to hard. We were booked for 11. At 12 o'clock I'm told the wait would be another hour and a half. When I ask how is that the expected wait time I'm told "other days is worse, this actually isn't as long of a wait as usual". How do these dentists expect children, special needs children as well, to sit for 3 hours on a fast? This is disgusting and appalling. If a surgery is to occur at 1:30 then book it for 1:30 not 11. Those poor receptionists probably get chewed out every single day on behalf of these poor excuses for dentists. Absolutely sickening.

Worst place ever! Please do listen to reviews waits times are very long 2-3 hours if lucky , once you get back yes nurses are nice but the dentist/ doctor is horrible he will contradict you and try to force you to make a decision you don't want for your child . And they are rude. I was talking to the dentist about the referral that was sent over for my child and what they wanted to be done he simply said i don't have to do what they want i can do whatever i want literally took everything of me not to say anything . so please look else where .
