Dr.Khanna, the man behind Fresh Orthodontics (your favorite Brooklyn Orthodontic office), knew he wanted to be a dentist since his high school years in North Carolina. He was one of three students accepted into a guaranteed admission program at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. Thats right, he got into dental school as a senior in high schoolnerd alert, indeed. At VCU, he earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry with a minor in religious studies while on a full academic scholarship.
He decided to forge ahead with his education and obtained his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. During that time, Dr. Khanna also received his masters degree in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine on another academic scholarship.
In addition to launching Fresh Orthodontics, Dr. Khanna is an executive board member of the New York State Society of Orthodontists and, in the past, he held positions as a clinical professor at NYU and attending at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. As if Dr. Khanna didnt get enough tooth action during the day, hes the sole orthodontist in the local Spear Study Club, which is a nationally recognized study club made up of a multidisciplinary group of your local dentists. The crew meets up to discuss collaborative methods to take the quality of your dental care up a notch. Dr. Khanna stuck with me through my treatment even when I was wavering and he didn't charge me a cent over the initial fee when the regimen ran long. He's a rare sort of guy and his staff is excellent.

Words cannot express how grateful we are with Dr. Khanna and his staff. He is really the best! The office is always clean, sanitized and organized. The staff is so friendly and professional. They're always willing to help. Dr. Khanna changed my sons life! When we first came to him, my son was being bullied and laughed at because of his teeth, and he was so understanding. My son immediately felt so comfortable, and now my son has a MILLION DOLLAR SMILE! I recommend Fresh Orthodontics to everyone! We love you Dr. Khanna! Forever grateful for you!

The staff and service are great. However, scheduling appointments has always been an nightmare and for this reason, I wish I'd chosen another orthodontist given how many times you have to go during the course of a treatment. You're scheduling appointments two months in advance and if something happens to come up and you need to reschedule, good luck getting a new appointment close to your original appointment time (you're offered new times that are two months out, delaying your course of treatment by two months). I've also had appointments rescheduled by them without my consent, without so much as a courtesy call to ask if the new appointment time works for us. They also don't answer the phone when you call.

I took my son in for a consult. They don't accept my insurance, so we went somewhere that does accept it. They place felt ALL wrong.... not even close to how warm & friendly the atmosphere is at Fresh Ortho. So we came back. The treatment plans are realistic. Now I'm ready to begin my own treatment plan.

Over the passed year I spent time reflecting on the state of my current health, the worlds pandemic, and the future. I had the luck and expertise of Dr. Kanna and his staff taking care of my teeth in such a dire time. Dr. Kanna is one of the most professional in Dentistry and Orthodontics. He helped take my teeth to another level and my previous tooth issues have healed. They look and feel fantastic! All technicians on location are well versed in all orthodontic procedures, as well kind. Receptionist get to know you and look after you at all times. My daughter and I were there just this morning, Dr. Khanna and the entire staff are wonderful. Great office, clean they make you feel safe and unafraid. The fees are extremely reasonable. Dr. Khanna explains all to you and is not looking to make a quick $$ Cassidy is also awesome, we are so lucky to have found this place so close to home. I highly recommend them.
