Dr. Farid Hakimzadeh received his bachelor in science in Medical Technology from University of Maryland in Baltimore, 1990. Following his B.S, Dr. Hakimzadeh attended Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1994. During his senior year he received oral surgery clerkship, which was advance training in oral surgery procedures. In 1994 started his General Practice Residency (GPR) at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York, and completed his advance residency in 1995. Since then he has been active in private practice.
Within these years of private practice, he has received number of continuing education certificates in orthodontic, periodontics, advance restorative dentistry, and dental implant. Dr. Hakimzadeh believes in order to deliver the highest quality of dental health care to his patients, any practitioner should learn and gain new technique and science, and he has been very active doing that since practicing as a dentist.
He believes in holistic approach to deliver dental health care to all patients and tries to establish long-term care and commitment to all. As a general dentist Dr. Hakimzadeh is very efficient in all aspect of dental procedures, and uses all specialty discipline by referring his patients to specialist as needed.

Stay away if you have kids because after I spent one hour inside first they refused to let me in with my wife because of my kids one 6 month abs the other 3 years. Second they need to hold me for 2 weeks till they get approved by the insurance abs when I mentioned that I can call my insurance to the get the approval as usual they said no. At the end of the one hour wait she rudely asked me not to bring the kids with me next time. The doctor walked outside to tell her assistant that kids are not welcomed and stay outside. All the staff were unfriendly and I am sad going there.I advise you to switch your career If you can not work and kids around you. Good luck

First of all, I want to begin by saying how nice Dr. Farid is. I called in for an emergency as I was having a lot of pain on my wisdom tooth so I asked if I can come in to get an extraction. Not only did he squeeze me in his schedule but he was like a dad to me during the whole procedure as I suffer from anxiety and to be honest it's nice to have that because a lot of dentist just want to get the work done and get paid. The doctor and his assistant Coco I believe was her name were very professional and very understanding. Coco was very consoling during the whole process and that made me feel very good. Thank you both !

I've been to three different dentist since residing year 7 years ago in NY and Fresh Meadows is the best that I've been to. They were so thorough with the cleaning and prompt with seeing me. They were super friendly (both the staff and the doctor) and informed me of my options and treatments needed. Thank you for a wonderful experience and service! Found myself a new dentist.

Visit was great, Dr Hakimzadeh explained everything my insurance would cover and what it would not cover, knew exactly what needed to be done listened to my issues and what I was feeling didn't just look at xrays and try to throw root Canals at me. Relaxing environment His dental assistant Elaine was friendly and informative. Hands down great experience 10 out of 10 way better then other dentists in bayside that I have been to. And he's a funny guy too. Would definitely recommend him.

Amazing service. Super informative, inviting, and friendly. I had three wisdom teeth pulled. The doctor knows what he is doing and is one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. I didn't feel it and I healed so fast it was crazy. Great work. My whole family comes here. They've all had so much work done by this doctor. They are all very very happy with his work. I highly recommend.

I am so afraid of going to the dentist. I am 65 years old. I went to this dentist and he removed all four of my wisdom teeth and three others at one time. I was not asleep. Let me tell you it was the most pleasant dental experience I've ever had. This doctor is so skilled as well as nice. I did not experience any pain afterwards. I was on motrin 800 mg which was sufficient. With my fear of dentist I wish I had gone to him years ago because I know I wouldn't have lost so many teeth. I don't write a lot of reviews but I felt I had to praise his skills and good nature. Go to him you will see! Francina dunson.

I was NOT warned that I would be having teeth removed ahead of time, the procedure was incredibly painful, as the doctor did not believe that I could still feel anything, though I assured him that I could. The job was rushed because the staff wanted to leave early for the day, even though they had scheduled the appointment and I was on time. I was assured before, during, and after the visit that this was covered 100% by my insurance. However, 8 months later, I received a call from a collections agency claiming that the office had been sending me bills for $800. I never received a single bill from them. I called them up immediately, restated my insurance information and the situation,and spoke to a woman who admitted that she didn't really know what she was doing, but she would figure it out with my insurance company. Several months later, I get a notice that there is negative activity on my credit report. This office has filed a negative claim against me. I have still not received a SINGLE bill from their office, they have not returned MULTIPLE phone calls and messages, and now my credit score took a 100 point drop. Long story short: BEWARE OF THIS OFFICE!!! DO NOT VISIT!!!!
