Dr. Albert graduated from the University of Connecticut in Storrs with a degree in chemistry. In 1984 heearned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine fromthe University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine at the UCONN Health Center in Farmington, and completed hispediatric dentistry residency in 1986. Dr. Albertopened his first office in East Hartford in 1987, then movedto its current location in Manchester in 2000.
Dr. Albert serves as a faculty member at the UCONN Medical and Dental schools in Farmington, where he has taught Head and Neck Anatomy and Critical Thinking in Dentistry. He is the course director for Practice Management and for the Dental School's Mentor Program, in which pre-doctoral students attend offices in private practice for career guidance. Healso servesthe Dental School by leading third-year student service trips to underserved communities internationally, including the countries of Peru, Belize,Honduras, the Galapagos Islands, Tanzania, the Dominican Republic and most recently, Puerto Rico since Hurricane Maria.
Dr. Albert is married to Karen. Theysharefour sons, threedaughters-in-law,two granddaughters,a grandson and three 'granddogs.' When hes not teaching or traveling, he likes to golf, play basketball, and read.
We strive to provide and maintain the lifelong well-being of our dental patients through education and treatment in a safe, relaxed, and trusting environment in which patients can decide on their path to health.
We will work within our community to assist other professionals with the diverse needs of their patients while supporting the development of ourselves and other professionals by pursuing and providing dental education.

Had a to wait long time for Appointment but everything was good n very friendly . Not like other dentists ( Holyoke mass & look at me like ahold be because I did mass health. The one in Holyoke only wanted free government insurance money paid upfront no questions asked

The billing process was NOT what was described to me. Had I known I would be paying so much out of pocket (even after my insurance paid their portion of the procedure) I would have found a different provider. My son had complications from the procedure and because Dr Albert was out of the country after our procedure, I had to take my child to the ER twice (once time to have the procedure site coterized by pediatric dentists). Obviously he had no way of knowing this would happen but it was stressful and very costly. Then to get only a portion of the money we put up front back from his office after many months of requesting the billing staff resubmit the bill to insurance (insurance said they never reviewed the first bill), it felt like a huge smack in the face.

Dr. Albert himself was amazing...his secretary however, was the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. We had an appointment for today but when I called because I was stuck in traffic to say I might be late she rudely told me I didn't have an appointment because he was in the OR. This as I'm staring at the appointment card from this same secretary for the appointment. She insisted I must be wrong because she wouldn't have scheduled me for this day and time. She told me it was next week st a different time and had always been scheduled then with an insisting rude tone. Completely unprofessional and not a single phone call or letter prior saying I was rescheduled for my infants follow up. Again, Dr. Albert amazing, his front desk staff was rude from day one.

After an inadequate snip of scissors at Yale, Dr. Albert was able to solve a stubborn posterior tongue tie with laser. Four visits and two laser procedures cost significantly less combined than the initial snip at Yale, which used only a pair of finger nail scissors (literally). Dr. Albert also took time to teach us how to help our son heal and make an informed decision. Anthem didn't cover it at first, citing is as "not medically necessary," but with a referral letter from our pediatrician and a simple explanation of the need for an infant to be able to eat without a feeding tube, they ultimately covered it. Yale and Anthem can share 2 stars. Fresh Impressions gets 5!

The doctor was very patient, explained everything about what he would look for and any procedure that he may do before even doing the exam. Once he did the exam there was discussion and the procedure ended up not being necessary.

Amazing, I went here because my daughter can't take dental care awake. She is on the spectrum with autism and Dr Albert is one of the most patient and kindest dentist I have ever dealt with when it comes to my daughter. They were very fast, knowledgeable, and kind. I recommend Dr Albert 100%. I trusted him doing work on my daughter's teeth, no questions asked. The staff here are super sweet as well.

Amazing, I went here because my daughter can't take dental care awake. Several members of my family now see Dr. Albert for their dental care. On my first visit Dr. Albert did a thorough examination and spent a significant amount of time to explain his findings and recommendations. His use of technology allowed me to see what he was explaining. For the first time in my adult life I had a filling replaced painlessly without novocaine because he used a laser instrument. That was a breakthrough for me. Dr. Albert explained what he was about to do during the entire procedure and ensured that I was comfortable. He and his staff are friendly and professional. I feel very comfortable in their office and my granddaughters look forward to their regular checkups.
