Dr. Ejaz Lakhani received his Dental degree in 1999. He pursued his advanced education at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Lakhani attributes his expertise in performing state-of-the-art dental procedures to his lifelong love of learning. He is trained to use the most technologically advanced dental equipment helping to eliminate the pain and discomfort associated with traditional dentistry. Dr. Lakhani has over 15 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry, and completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing dental education, including 500 hours dedicated to hands-on skills and techniques. Services provided included but were not limited to, comprehensive treatment planning, aesthetics, implants, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics. In addition, he maintains himself up to-date with current dental literature and courses/seminars such as implantology, case management and treatment, aesthetics, TMJ disorders, and practice management.
His practice philosophy defines a commitment to quality and customized care. He takes care to listen to patients aesthetic concerns while determining their needs for optimal oral health. Dr. Lakhani values relationships he has with his patients and with the staff.
I have been working with this office for the last 32 years in some capacity, from front desk, greeting patients, to oral surgery assistant, to office management. My passion is being a liaison between the patients and clinical staff. I enjoy helping patients understand their treatment needs and insurance and how to achieve great oral health.
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1996. I have spent 21 of my 24 years as a hygienist with this office. I most enjoy interacting with the patients and helping them achieve optimal oral health with gentle care and compassion.

The team really worked with me to find a day and time that was convenient with my work schedule. Everyone was very kind, knowledgeable, and informative with my Invisalign fitting. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lakhani and his team are great. As someone who only had been to one be dentist for the first 35+ years of life finding a new dentist was worriesome. This team made it easy. Recently had a root canal and crown and the results are fantastic.

I was nervous about my appointment, but the staff are amazing!!! They were kind and made me feel comfortable, honestly it was the best experience I have ever had for dental work. Thank you Dr. Lakhani and the Fresh Dental team!!!

I had my appointment at Fresh dental with Dr Lakhani. He was very professional, thorough in his work and courteous. He made sure I was comfortable multiple times during the procedure. He did an excellent job . His staff was warm and welcoming . I had a FANTASTIC experience and would highly recommend Fresh dental.

I would like to share my experience with Dr.Ejaz Lakhani who is a very friendly and kind doctor. I had a problem with one of my tooth during my pregnancy . It was very painful and I had a swelling which was very irritating .He had a look at my tooth and X ray and said it was my baby tooth which had not fallen off as yet. At the time he had suggested to temporarily put in a filling as it was deteriorating and having it pulled off during pregnancy would be hard and painful. He wrote in a prescription which reduced the pain and the filling definitely helped ,So now I'm going to be heading to his office to get a bridge done as suggested very soon. Thank you doctor. God bless you for your work. Will definitely share the experience after my bridge is going to be done .

I came to Merit Dental when Dr. Bradley Roberts and Dr. Eugenia Roberts were attempting to restore confidence in patients who had been taken advantage of by dishonest dentists. Since they departed for sunnier pastures, there have been at least 3 or 4 other dentists in as many years at this Merit Dental location and virtually all of the hygienist staff has departed, and probably for good reason based on my last experience. I had a routine appointment for cleaning and examination at the Montgomery office. Everything went well until the new dentist, Dr. Ejaz Lakhani, entered the room. He barely introduced himself and then promptly declared that I had tooth decay in 3 different teeth, one of which needed a crown. He had not even looked in my mouth and had spent 5 seconds glancing at my x-rays. When I asked questions, the answers were nebulous and the receptionist suddenly popped in from the hallway where she had been happening to overhear the entire conversation to try to smooth things over. It was too late, I smelled a rat and decided to investigate. I searched for a dentist for a second opinion who confirmed visually and with the x-rays from Merit Dental (the resolution of which was a real joke) that I had absolutely no decay in my mouth and certainly no need for a crown. Yes, there was staining and the 2 older fillings needed repair, but there was absolutely no decay. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the tooth that Dr. Ejaz Lakhani said needed a crown because there was no decay there either. My new dentist then proceeded to take her own complimentary x-rays to ensure that she was correct since the x-rays shared by Merit Dental were so poor in quality. Neither of us could believe that Dr. Ejaz Lakhani would be so incredibly mistaken to the tune of $2,253 and 3 uncomfortable follow up appointments. I had the 2 fillings repaired and it was confirmed once again by using the various physical tools of the dental trade that I had absolutely no decay whatsoever in my mouth. I have returned since then for a follow up cleaning and exam with the same results. No decay. I can only conclude that Dr. Ejaz Lakhani is either extremely incompetent or extremely dishonest. In either case, I do not trust his judgment to practice dentistry on me or anyone in my family.

So I attempted to move to this branch of Merit and they did an evaluation. They made some recommendations an also did some pricing. I questioned what they were stating and quoting and I guess that was not allowed. Soon I received a letter stating they did not want me as a client. So, I found another dentist that has worked out great. When they called for my records Merit said they had computer issues and lost my data. I'm not sure if that was really true or they did not want a record of the evaluation that they presented. Why asking questions is an issue I am not sure. Especially regarding personal medical treatment. I would save go elsewhere. I went to Afinia Dental on Fields Ertel Rd. and could not be more please with the staff and their customer service.

I've been a patient at this office for almost 15 years off and on. I've went to other offices when I had changes with insurance, but I always keep coming back. Michelle at the front desk is always so friendly and knows you by name, as she has been at the office the whole time I've been going there. She is also very helpful sorting out insurance needs. All of the staff in the office is very friendly. They don't try to rip you off with unnecessary services and they work with you to improve your oral health, while praising you for doing the work to make things better. Dr. Riesenberg actually cleaned my teeth for me at my appointment this week. She is always very friendly and personable. I definitely recommend her.
