Dr. Michelle Lee is known to her patients and her staff as kind, caring, and genuinely concerned about people. She steps out of her role as a clinician to really get to know you and your needs. Patient comfort is paramount to Dr. Lee, and she will provide gentle touch care and conservative treatment planning.
She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with Bachelors degree in Biological Science. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Lee is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society. She is also a certified Invisalign provider and has profound knowledge of conventional braces treatment; she enjoys transforming her patients smiles and giving them a new-found confidence.
Dr. Jin Nam received his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Massachusetts-Amherst in Biochemistry. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He completed three years of post-graduate dental specialty education in Prosthodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After completion of Prosthodontics training, he continued his study for a year in Implant Restoration and Surgery as an Implant fellow at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Amy has been handling the day-to-day operations of Fresh Dental since our opening in November of 2018. She took her first dental assisting position in 2004 and has been in the dental industry ever since! Amy's advanced knowledge of every aspect of the dental office enables her to provide broad guidance and training for our practice.
Cynthia has been working in the dental field since 2018, she is a student at Prairie State College currently working on her Degree for Multi Media Marketing. As our current Business Assistant, she helps Amy with the day to day operations of Fresh Dental. Cynthia is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Jose is our bilingual dental hygienist who has 11 years experience in the dental field. He graduated from Fox College and was awarded the golden scaler award for his excellence in patient care and clinical skills. Patient comfort is his top priority as he looks to change the stigma many patients have associated with dental care. Outside of work, Jose enjoys going to the movies, loves to travel, and try new restaurants.
Daisy has been in the dental field for over 6 years. She is a highly trained dental assistant that stays current with continuing dental education. Her commitment is taken seriously to helping patients maintain their dental health. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner. Daisy is also fluent in Spanish and volunteers different events in her own free time. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her precious dog Roxy. Fresh Dental is proud to work alongside her.
Dmitrii attended the Dental Academy of Chicago in January 2021 and completed his 6 months of dental assisting internship at The Chicago Dental Institute. Dmitrii is a native Russian immigrant who is bilingual in English and Russian. Outside of the Practice he enjoys baking, traveling and exploring the City of Chicago. Fresh Dental is truly excited to have him as part of our team!

At Fresh Dental, we believe in the importance of preventive care. Dr. Jin Nam and Dr. Michelle Lee will take care of your regular preventive care, including monitoring the health of your teeth, doing oral cancer exams, and taking X-rays. We strongly encourage our clients to schedule semi-annual cleanings and instruct our clients in other preventive measures they can take to ensure their dental hygiene. When anyone comes in with a dental crisis, we do our upmost to remedy the problem, but we do see the best results with consistent dental care.

Very kind and professional staff. The whole process was very thorough. They explained the process from beginning to end. They gave me a dental plan with the possible cost/total of my dental plan. Instead of feeling anxious it makes me excited to get my dental health back on track. Thank you fresh dental!

I've been with fresh dental for more than 3 years and always had a great experience. Everyone is professional, diligent and the most important thing is they care for you. The facilities and equipment are new, well maintained and always clean. There was never an instance where my appointment was rushed. I've been to other dentists and they barely interacted with me. Dr. Nam is excellent. He takes all questions, sits down with you and explains everything in detail. The admin staff are wonderful, never had any issues with appointments, billing etc. Always taken care of with ease. I definitely recommend fresh dental to anyone looking for dentists in the lake view area.

Best experience I've had at any medical appointment. A few highlights -Competent and friendly staff: They went above and beyond and handled an insurance issue that wasn't their responsibility. -Trust worthy care: Last dentist I saw told me I had two cavities and I held off addressing them bc I didn't have dental insurance at the time and they quoted me at $300/filling. Assumed they would have gotten worse and I would need to address them this visit. Dr. Nam took X-rays as well as detailed pictures and pointed out that those spots weren't actually cavities. They were hard, not soft like cavities, and were actually just stains caused by the natural groove in my teeth. This was wild to me. He could have easily said they were cavities since I was already told they were quite a while back by another dentist, and then charged me more to deal with them. I wouldn't have questioned it. -Great bedside manner: Dr. Nam, as well as Dr. Lee who I spoke to about TMJ, were extremely thorough and spent significant time with me explaining things and answering all of my questions. I think it's the norm to feel rushed by your provider and leave feeling like not all your concerns were fully addressed. The opposite was true here. -Transparent about costs: without asking, they printed out a very clear and straightforward breakdown of costs of everything we had discussed and I felt absolutely no pressure to do anything. In fact they even recommended I hold off on scheduling the next appointment until they heard back from my insurance.

The office is clean, the staff is friendly and efficient. I felt like the communication I received about the health of my teeth was superior to my last dentist and far less uncomfortable. Just physically, they did such a nice job of making me feel comfortable without diminishing the depth of the cleaning.
