Jae Yoon, DDS, is an experienced cosmetic and general dentist bringing more than 27 years of experience to Fresh Dental Care, serving people of all ages in Fairfax, Virginia, and throughout Fairfax County.
Dr. Yoon began his professional education at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. Following graduation, he enrolled at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Yoon launched Yoon Dental Center in 1993 with the goal of creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for people to receive comprehensive oral health care. The practice is family-friendly and the team takes the time to get to know each individual in their care.
Dr. Yoon and the team offer a wide range of dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics. Individuals can also access oral restorations like dental implants, dentures, crowns, and bridges.

Currently undergoing implants and I have panic attacks occassionally with certain dental procedures, however, Dr Yoon is consistent with his procedures and in 12 plus years of him being my dentist have had one nor been put to sleep! AWESOME Dentist.....

Dr. Yoon has been my family's dentist for around two decades and him and his team are so fantastic that even now that we don't live in Virginia we make the 1.5h commute to them. They are experts, attentive, kind, and provide incredible results.

I had a rear molar replaced with an implant. The process almost 6 months, but today I walked out with a new molar without any swollen gums due to some latent infection which could have been very serious. My gums were swollen from a pus infection, and it hurt so bad. I went to Dr. Yoon the next day. Thanks Dr. Yoon for your help once again.

Jessie gave me good advice on choosing an electric toothbrush and to think about getting a water pick for better flossing. Dr. Yoon takes time to answers questions. His answers are honest and caring. Dr. Yoon has been my only dentist every since I was a child. He and his staff are amazing with children and have made going to the dentist a great experience for me. I have done my braces through him and I couldn't be happier with the results. Soon I will be getting my wisdom teeth out and he is very reassuring and takes the time to answer any questions I have about the procedure. Highly recommend him!!

Best of the BEST! If you're looking for the best dentist or orthodontist in the DMV area, look no further!:-) Dr Yoon and his team are the best dental practice we've ever experienced in this area. After we returned from living abroad, I asked for recommendations as I wasn't convinced with other dentists we had had before. A family friend recommended Dr. Yoon's practice. My whole family (husband, myself and 2 daughters) goes there for both dental and orthodontics work. Dr. Yoon is an outstanding dentist and orthodontist. We're all very happy with the various treatments we've gotten. He and his team are also very attentive and caring, we LOVE them!

I needed special treatment on my front tooth. It had to be replaced, and the alignment was at a difficult angle. Dr. Jae took care of it with professional care. I don't have headaches like I used to and that's wonderful. Thanks a bunch Dr. Yoon! You really know what you are doing.

Dr. Yoon and his staff are professional, fun and knowledgeable. I have been seeing Dr. Yoon for over 20 years and unfortunately have had to have fillings, root canals, crowns, composites and lately an implant. Dr. Yoon and his staff always make sure to keep me calm and comfortable during these uncomfortable procedures. Both my college aged children have gone to him from the beginning and even had their braces done by him. His dental hygienist, Jessie is THE BEST! She takes time to instruct you in the best ways to keep your teeth healthy in between visits. If you want quality dental care look no further!

I did root canal and crown here and Dr. yoon said I have 4 more cavities. It was hard to believe that I have 4 more...?so I went to different dentists in the area. Two different dentists said I do not have any CAVITIES. They just sent me home without charge me anything. I cannot trust this Dr. Because other dentists said i do not have any cavities when Dr. yoon said i have four. Cannot trust this doctor so I do not recommend here.

I've been going here for years and years, both my children too - waaay better than a lot of places. Very friendly, usually prompt because I hate waiting and they typically do a really good job of scheduling. I love the hygienist Jessie (sp?) and dental assistants are all wonderful. Dr. Yoon has a good sense of humor and will provide lots of preventative maintenance stuff for you - did wonders with my kids and is currently doing braces on my older daughter. Everything feels like good quality work. I almost don't want to share this review because this is MY dentist...
