Starting from a young age, Dr. Gilani knew he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. After many years of dental and orthodontic treatment, completed on him as a child and seeing the positive impact it can have, Dr. Gilani grew an appreciation for the dentistry profession. His entrepreneurial background, coupled with his passion to directly have a positive impact on people, led him to pursue a profession in dentistry.
Dr. Gilani grew up in Plano, Texas and attended college at the University of Texas at Austin. From there, he graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, Glendale, Arizona in 2018. Upon graduation, Dr. Gilani knew he wanted to be a part of, and give back to, the community that gave him so much. He moved back to Dallas to begin his career as an associate dentist, building relationships and restoring healthy smiles on patients of all ages. Dr. Gilani is certified in nitrous oxide, Level 1 sedation, and Invisalign and is currently a member of the Texas Dental Association and Texas Academy of General Dentistry.
During his free time, Dr. Gilani enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new restaurants and playing golf. His favorite meal of the day is breakfast, so if you have any recommendations, please do share, he loves trying new restaurants! Dr. Gilani looks forward to meeting and building life long relationships with you!
Dr. Jean-Paul Rwigema was born in Rwanda, a small country in central Africa. He moved to the United States in 1998, where he lived in various areas around the country while pursuing his dreams in the field of computer technology and dentistry. Dr. Rwigema received his DDS degree from the University of Southern California and then moved to Texas where he found a home within great communities in the city of Dallas.
Dr. Rwigema has a broad experience in both pediatric and adult dentistry and enjoys learning new knowledge to better serve his community. In his spare time, Dr. Rwigema enjoys traveling, watching sports, playing with his dog Max the bulldog, and spending time with family and friends.

I am always very happy with this clinic, whem they say, "they go the Extra Smile to make you happy" its very TRUE!!! they keep it very clean... always very welcoming, warm & inviting for the littles. The lady's at the reception desk will greet you and always so nice and happy, respectful!!! We have 3 children, ages 12, 7 and 4yrs, they always respect me and allow me to be present with my kids. Of course before the pandemic they would offer coloring pages, have an arcade area, movie theater, would offer snacks to kids and hot tea or beverage to adults, etc... but now they have to take many precautions but yet still always friendly. doctor always answers Any and All questions or concerns I have. I don't ever feel rushed or not heard in regards to my children and I especially love that He LISTENS to anything regarding my child's health and I don't ever feel judged as a parent! Absolutely hands down best dentist for my family!!! I am so thankful for the staff and doctor!!

Fast friendly and went above and beyond expectations my kids has had a traumatic dental experience in the past I made the dr aware he assured me that he was nothing like my past visit confidently and afterwards my kids all stated that they would be comfortable with coming. He definitely a keeper
