I was very lucky to land at this place after having very bad experiences with other places. Doctor Maung and his team are not only the best professionals I've ever met but also the kindest and nicest of all. I am happy with their work, and I am happy with how they make me feel when I walk in, specially if you are having a problem to solve (which is everyone that goes to a dentist office) it is very nice to feel understood and taken care of. Thank you very very much for everything doctor Maung and team, I just know there is no better place. I highly recommend it!!! Isabel, from Chile :)

Friendly and knowledgeable staff made the experience a very positive one. Dr. Maung performed the surgery very swiftly and skillfully. He and assistants were attentive and experienced. Office staff are wonderfully attentive with handling scheduling and payment-related matters. If I might respectfully suggest, the only improvement might be in the way post-care instructions were given. Information on what medication to take was vague (I had to ask what medication was prescribed) and post-surgery oral care was shared a bit hastily. But all in all, a very positive experience. Would highly recommend FOMS.

I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Patel and his assistants, Veronica and Tatiana, they did such a wonderful job. Not only were they professional, they were also very kind and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process.

Thank you Dr. Maung, Veronica, and Sonia!!! I don't often write reviews, but when the experience was as exceptional as mine was, writing a review is the least i can do to say thank you!! This was my first time getting a tooth extracted, so I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Maung was so thorough prior to, during, and after the procedure. He was always checking in with me during the procedure to make sure I was doing ok. Dr. Maung and his assistants Veronica and Sonia work like magic together! Very efficient and professional, but also very gentle, kind, friendly, and even making me laugh! The office is clean and organized. The appointment process is very streamlined. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this office! I am very grateful--If I could give this office more than 5 stars I would!

Dr.Maung and his crew are the best around! I recommend getting anything you need here 100%. I'm not always the easiest patient (just get very nervous) but as soon as I walked in the door, the atmosphere was full of wonderful, welcoming and kind people. I instantly felt relief knowing I was going to be taken care of. I had my wisdom teeth removed and they were absolutely wonderful! It was quick and they were very helpful making sure I didn't feel pain. Dr.Maung is very talented in his practice and my mouth doesn't feel nearly as bad as I anticipated! Dr. Maung is the oral surgeon around!

Dr. Maung and his assistants, Sonia and Veronica, were super friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time during my visit. They even made me laugh during an otherwise nerve wrecking time! The anesthesia and wisdom teeth removal all went smoothly, as I did not feel any pain. I was sent home with clear, written instructions and with the necessary tools for follow up care. Was beyond satisfied with how everything turned out.

Extremely HAPPY HAPPY HAPPYY!!! This place is randomly selected by my husband for my complicated wisdom tooth surgery. Initially I was so scared about the post surgery pain. But Dr. Chirag and his assts Veronica and Sonia did magic. Got quick appointment, So sweet that they scheduled surgery in the morning, because I was fasting. First thing they took clear oral scan to make sure they are not missing on anything. By looking into that scan Dr. Chirag explained all the complications and consequences. It was scary that my wisdom tooth infected the sinus. Which is relatively bothering from years. But they did a great job. This procedure gave me so much relief from Sinus too! Surgery was very smooth, Veronica and Sonia both were awesome they took really good care. Painless, correct medication and the right treatment was given to me. Love this team. Lucky to choose this place.

Dr Patel and I have same last name but he is not my lost cousin or brother I do solo-long distance motorcycle rides and i planned one longer than other rides. Lot went in preparation and my wisdom tooth started hurting a month prior to my trip I was worried, confused and constantly cursing myself for procrastinating removal for a very long time. I was almost certain that my trip is ruined, until i met Dr Patel. He checked it and listen to my sad story and assured me that its possible to remove it and also recover so that i can enjoy my planned trip. He is amazing and very professional, I ended up recovering exactly as he promised and enjoyed my 21-day solo trip to 9 states. I rode over 6k miles without any problems whatsoever. Thank you Dr Patel and team You guy are amazing !!!

I was very pleased with my dentist's referral to Fremont Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The staff was attentive and professional. My tooth removal was quick and painless. I highly recommend them.

Waited to get my son's wisdom teeth surgery done during spring break. Dr. Maung met with us and went over with what we should expect during and post surgery. My son felt comfortable during the whole process and even considering he didn't get but general anesthesia. Highly recommend coming here as you will feel very taken care of my professionals. My kid had an extra tooth that had to be removed. Dr Maung showed unbelievable patience with my son and me as I refused an option to get general anesthesia. We spent 3 hours at his office because my kid wasn't cooperating, but Dr Maung wasn't annoyed with us. His assistant, Veronica, was also extremely nice. The extraction itself went well and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much!

I had an emergency where I had cracked a wisdom tooth. FremontOMS was able to see me for a consult and extraction. The office staff were extremely kind, and Dr. Patel was amazing. Very knowledgeable, with impeccable bedside manner. I highly recommend their practice.

I had 3 wisdom teeth taken out along with 1 Supra numerary tooth w/ local anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide. I didn't feel a single thing. Both Dr. Maung and Near communicated, not just with me but with each other, perfectly. The staff were extremely kind and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. Near gave great post op instructions and had great attention to detail. Dr. Maung pulled out my teeth very sufficiently and gave me no reason to feel worried. I definitely recommend him for anyone who needs an extraction. Hopefully when I have kids I can bring them to get their extractions done by him too.

My son had 3 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Patel. The whole procedure went smooth. Recovery was fast with no complications. Dr. Patel even texted us in the evening to check how my son was doing. He also responded immediately the day after when we asked more questions about follow-up care. Best oral surgeon! Thank you Dr. Patel!

Absolutely Amazing place to go for oral surgery! There's always a sense of dread with any surgery, but Dr. Patel and his staff made it so comfortable. My regular dentist had referred me to a different surgeon, but after doing some research I wasn't entirely comfortable going to the place I was referred to. Looking online I found Fremont Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and was impressed to see consistent 5 star ratings. Being the skeptic I am, I will admit I had my doubts, but I needed my wisdom teeth removed and everything I was reading was better than that of the previous place. So I took a chance and called, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I called, Dr. Patel and his staff were incredible. The first person I spoke to, Kim, was delightful to speak with and worked with me to get my appointment and consultation scheduled. Since this was mt first surgery ever, there was so much I was unsure of. But Kim helped me navigate everything with courteousness and respect. Upon arriving to my appointment, I met with Sylvia, another fantastic encounter. She was friendly and jovial, which helped calm my initial anxieties. After X-Rays with yet another kind woman who's name I unfortunatly didn't catch, I was in the operating room with Veronica, and Dr. Patel. What I imagined was going to be a very anxious and intense experience was instantly calmed by Dr. Patel's thoroughly informative explaination of what would be happening during my procedure. I came ready to ask a ton of questions, and everything I was concerned about was answered during his consultation. After surgery, I was awakened by Veronica and wheeled out to my husband who was waiting, the entire time she was very comforting and kind. I could not have asked for a better experience for wisdom teeth removal, or as a first surgery experience! Every business, be it medical or not, should aspire to the quality of care that Dr. Patel and his staff give to each and every patient. I would absolutely recommend this place for all oral surgery needs.

Wow! I had a tooth extraction and bone graft procedure done by Dr. Patel last week, and I had no pain! The assistant - I believe her name was Sonia made me feel relaxed and comfortable! (Even though I was nervous) lol I'm ready for my future implant. I highly recommend this office Thank you Dr. Patel and staff!

Background: At first I was only planning to get my impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Maung, but after seeing how nice everyone is, and how skilled the doctor and assistants are, I went back and got the last wisdom tooth out (which is today). Surgery: I opted for local anesthetics, I thought it was going to be a terrifying experience, but to my surprise, I barely felt any pain or discomfort. Dr. Maung was also very caring. He kept asking me about how I was feeling to make sure that I was alright. The surgery went faster than I had expected, and I was like "that's it?" when Dr. Maung said all the teeth are out. It was also worth mentioning that Dr. Maung followed up with me after the surgery through text. (Is the little things that count.) Post-op: First-day post-op, I only experienced some discomfort, and with the help of pain med, my discomfort/pain level never went past a 3. I was up and running the 2nd day after the surgery, and all I was concerned about was the fact that I cannot eat solid food yet lol. I was able to munch on harder food with my front teeth on day 4, and I went back to eating normal meals after a week (cause I can rinse my holes now :D). At the 2 weeks mark, I went back to Dr. Maung and took out my last wisdom teeth so I can relive the whole process again (hooray?) Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Maung and his team. I highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in getting their wisdom teeth pulled!!

I got my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday on my lower side. I must say the entire procedure was very comfortable and I didnt feel nervous. My wisdom teeth operated by Dr. Maung, assisted by Veronica and Sonia who were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable, answered all questions I had and the condition of my wisdom teeth. I was given IV sedation and didn't have any side effects. After the procedure I was given prescription for medicines and a kit to take care post operation and I do not see any noticeable swelling and am able to eat soft food easily with minimal pain. I highly recommend this hospital. Thanks to the entire team for taking care of me well.
