I find dentistry truly rewarding and enjoy forming lasting bonds with my patients. I love seeing patients being transformed inside and out because of their smile. I feel educating patients on the importance of a healthy mouth and how to maintain it gives them the control for a lifelong, healthy habit.
I attended the University of Washington for my undergraduate studies and continued on at the UW School of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. I have been practicing in the wonderful and eclectic Fremont community since 2000.
I am constantly taking continuing education courses and attending seminars to update my knowledge on the latest and most effective techniques. I feel that dentistry is continually changing and that these courses help us to stay on top of the newest technology available to provide the highest level of care for our patients.
I currently reside in Bellevue with my husband, Jung; our two boys, Andrew and Eric; and a Leopard Gecko named Draco. I'm petitioning for a Pomeranian, so there may soon be a four-legged member of our family! My professional life keeps me pretty busy, but I like to unwind with my family. My wonderful boys keep me very active, but I would like to get back to playing golf, tennis, and skiing on a regular basis. I also enjoy traveling and entertaining with family and friends.
My goal is to enhance the lives of my patients by providing optimal dental care with respect and compassion. I feel very privileged to be able to do what I love for living. It is such a great pleasure to give my patients healthy and beautiful smiles. The art and technology of dentistry fascinates me on a daily basis. It is wonderful to see patients change and grow over the many years I've been practicing. I have gotten to see so many children grow up into successful adults with families of their own.
I attended the University of Washington, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 1992. I was awarded the Ferrier Award for Restorative Excellence, the Faculty Fixed Prosthodontics Award, and was selected as a Top Dentist by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.
I have two children: Jonathan and Madeline. They are a constant source of joy and laughter in my life. We also have a highly energetic Border Collie named Charlie. For relaxation and exercise, I practice yoga, enjoy cooking and exploring all that the local culture and geography has to offer.
