Dr. Fremont is located between Mission Bay and La Jolla in Pacific Beach. We offer all phases ofcosmetic dentistryto improve our patients smiles with over 20 years of experience and hundreds of veneers placed since 1986. Our practice is virtually amalgam-free using composite technology to help preserve teeth. We believe in excellent dentistry in a relaxed environment, and we pride ourselves on excellent patient care.
After the complete exam, the patients needs are considered first and foremost. If a patient has not been to a dentist for awhile and is anxious, we start out slow by giving the patient lots of TLC and helping the patient to get over the hurdle of completing treatment. Whether it is a simple filling or full mouth restoration, we always make sure the patient is comfortable during the procedure. We perform many procedures including composite fillings, crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers,Zoom teeth whitening, root canals, bonding, periodontal therapy, implant prosthetics, dentures, occlusal splints, retainers and some extractions.
Dr. Robert Fremontgrew up in the San Fernando Valley and followed his fathers footsteps into the practice of dentistry. His degrees: University of California Santa Barbara, Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science, University of California San Francisco, Doctor of Dental Science. He likes to stay current with advances in dentistry by regularly attending seminars and study groups. Dr. Fremont also volunteers his time and skills for various outreach programs.
Doctor Fremont is a member of theAmerican Dental Associationas well as the California and San Diego Dental Associations. He is also a Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry. Dr. Fremont grew up as a competitive swimmer and is active with the La Jolla Masters Swimming Club. He enjoys photography, cooking, and walking his dog. He spends his free time creating his beautiful garden around his Pacific Beach Victorian farm house and bicycling with his family.
Dr. Fremont appeared in San Diego Magazine and was voted to list of Top Dentist as chosen by their peers the last 11 years and has been voted one of the citys top dentists by San Diego Magazine readers. He was also awarded by the Beach & Bay Press as the Readers Choice Award Dentist for the last 6 years.
Dr. Robert Fremont has been practicing for over 30 years in San Diego, CA. Dr Fremont is active with the La Jolla Masters Swimming Club. He enjoys photography, cooking, and walking his dog. He spends his free time creating his beautiful garden around his Pacific Beach Victorian farm house and bicycling with his family.
Ena has been the sweet and friendly face greeting all patients upon arrival since 2007. She has 20 years of experience in the dental field, and she started her career as an expanded duty dental assistant.
Ena enjoys getting to know our patients and making them all feel welcome and comfortable. When not at the office, Ena and her husband foster and volunteer for several rescue groups for both dogs and cats.
Kari is Dr. Fremonts lead dental assistant. She started working in our office in 2013. Kari has 16 years of dental experience, and received her dental training at PIMA in Chula Vista.She knew that Dental was where she belonged 2 weeks into school and hasnt looked back.

I just received a cleaning and exam from Dr Fremont and I'm wishing I changed dentists earlier. My past dentist was asking for $600-$800 for a cleaning, which I thought was ridiculous, and they wouldn't do any scaling (scraping) without that fee. . . I was referred to Dr Fremont from a family member and I got the best cleaning I've had in years. Friendly service with scaling, flossing, polishing and a detailed exam. I would highly recommend this dentist for anyone in Pacific Beach.

Dr Fremont came to my house to do molds of my mother's teeth while he was on vacation. We live in Washington. We started her treatment before the pandemic and haven't made it down with her since so he came to her! This was so thoughtful of him, great dentist.

Every once in a while you come across someone that truly makes a difference in your life. Dr. Robert Fremont Is this type of person. A professional that shows this kind of compassion and care to all of his patients is a rare bird indeed. What's more- is that the staff have all followed his lead. Knowing you on a first name basis is just the beginning. Do your self a favor- You'll be glad you did.

I've been going to Dr. Fremont forever. From cleanings, to crowns, and even the removal of a wisdom tooth - he's done it all, and it's always been the best experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else and risk less than the best. Ena at the front desk is a sweetheart - she's so warm and welcoming, and makes sure you get a quick appointment - especially if there's an emergency. As a bonus, Dr. Fremont is a foodie - so we're always talking food which makes for such a personal & enjoyable experience. Can't recommend him and his staff enough.

I have always been extremely stressed at even the THOUGHT of going to a dentist. My husband had been going to Dr. Fremont for a while and convinced me I should give him a try. It was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist! Dr. Fremont is professional, knowledgeable, funny and kind.. His staff is very attentive, personable and thorough. My greatest fear was the thought of getting a root canal. Well, I have now had my first one and that fear is no more. I give the whole office 5+ stars and hope he NEVER retires!

I had a great first experience at Dr. Fremont's office last week. The staff was incredibly friendly, warm and attentive. At first I was disappointed to hear that I needed a root canal, even though I wasn't in pain. I reached out to get a copy of my x-rays to get a second opinion from a family friend who is a dentist, and she was able to quickly confirm that the tooth in question did indeed have very deep decay that would need to be addressed. The fact that Dr. Fremont's office was willing to provide x-rays when I asked, and even encouraged a second opinion, demonstrated the practice's integrity - not to mention overall expertise. I'm glad to have found a reliable and honest dentistry in San Diego and would recommend Dr. Fremont to anyone.

Dr. Fremont is the best dentist I have every had. I had a sore tooth. He got me in right away. He has a numbing process that only numbs the tooth he is working on vs. having half you mouth without feeling. He filled the cavity and fifteen minutes later I would have never known I had a filling done. He corrected my bite, which apparently was off a bit due to a crown. My prior dentist missed this. His office staff is welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Bob.

I have been seeing Dr. Fremont for a while now, but I haven't been in for almost 2 years. The front office is very welcoming and my dental hygienist, Kelsey, is amazing. She worked diligently on my teeth for over an hour. Dr. Fremont confirmed 3 cavities during the exam. I was able to get in the next day for the treatment. I love his friendly, professional nature. His sense of humor puts you at ease. I love that they offer movies, and I love that I can turn up the volume as he is drilling. The distraction is necessary for me. He is fast, efficient, and super good at his job.
