Dr. Beard loves helping people smile with confidence again. Originally from Baton Rouge, Dr. Beard has been involved in the dental field for over 10 years. She attended Louisiana State University and earned her degree from the LSU School of Dentistry. After dental school Dr. Beard chose to move to the Northshore, because of its beautiful scenery and family-friendly atmosphere.
Dr. Beard has pursued extensive continuing education in aesthetic dentistry, same-day crowns, TMJ disorder, implant dentistry and sleep apnea dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the State of Louisiana Dental Association, the Northlake Dental Association, and a participant in the SPEAR Education Study Club. She is certified in oral conscious sedation, Invisalign, MTM Clear Braces, Six Month Smiles, advanced implant dentistry, and digital smile design. She also holds certifications in both CPR and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
Dr. Kurtz attended the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduation, Dr. Kurtz taught high school biology at Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans. It was then she decided to follow her passion and pursue a degree in Dentistry. She received her DDS from the LSU School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kurtz is thrilled to join the Fremaux Dental team. She is looking forward to incorporating new technology and techniques to increase patient comfort while improving their results, as well as forming lasting relationships with patients in a joint effort to improve their health.

She is certified in oral conscious sedation, Invisalign, MTM Clear Braces, Six Month Smiles, advanced implant dentistry, and digital smile design. She also holds certifications in both CPR and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). Dr. Beard and Board Certified Periodontist Dr. Sweidan are married and have two daughters under the age of two. Outside of work, she loves being a mommy, baking, spending time outdoors, and traveling. Shes a big fan of the Saints, LSU football, and the Pelicans. A graduate of LSU School of Dentistry, Dr. Beard is a member of the American Dental Association, the State of Louisiana Dental Association, the Northlake Dental Association and a participant in the SPEAR Education Study Club. She is certified in oral conscious sedation, MTM Clear Braces, Six Month Smiles, advanced implant dentistry, and digital smile design. I am so thankful that I found Fremaux Dental. My hygenist, Karen, is a very patient and caring person who answers my questions and makes me feel comfortable. My daughter also likes going and would definitely recommend her and Dr. Beard. Thank you for all that you do! It means so much!

I am absolutely terrified of going to the dentist. I haven't been in longer than I'd like to admit. I chose this place because of their stellar google rating. Everyone there was so sweet to me. They explained everything to me in detail after my examination including areas for improvement, procedures I needed, and pricing. It was painless from start to finish. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a new dental office. The office is clean, well maintained, and comforting.

Fremaux Dental Care was very welcoming, got signed in as a new patient, scheduled x-rays and exam with Dr. Beard and followed up the next business day. Dr. Beard and staff were absolutely amazing!! Professional, friendly, and attentive. They were actually booked up for weeks and were able to squeeze in my root canal on that day after I expressed the amount of pain I was in. They literally treated me like the rockstar I am and I would recommend them 10/10 times..will continue getting my work done there.

Was told I needed a deep cleaning price was to much it of pocket plus I did not need it I just wanted a regular cleaning they said would it would not fix my problem I had no problems my teeth and gums were stable hung up on me when i didn't want deep cleaning I wish my old dentist had Humana in's I would have never gone to this place the they were all polite except the front desk when I just wanted a regular cleaning she hung up on me I have move on this was in April

Best Dental Practice ever I was seen for a consult needed for medical clearance so I could start chemotherapy and radiation. They cleaned and Filled my teeth the same day and filled out my clearance forms and now I am can start my therapy. They are an amazing group and they really care about their patients.
