Dr. Sanghani received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Gujarat University in India and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC in Los Angeles. He also received a Masters degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management at Fairleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey. He is now licensed in Illinois and specializes in implant placement and general dentistry.
My greatest enjoyment is providing a beautiful smile for our patients with dentures, crowns and surgical implants. Dr. Rushi explains, Many patients may give up for years on how dentistry can improve their appearance and are amazed when they see the results.
Dr. Bares received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Bares is a native of Freeport, Illinois and a graduate of Freeport High School.
Dr. Bares specializes in all aspects of General Dentistry, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bares is certified in advanced CAD/CAM technology that enables patients to enjoy chairside restorations for all-ceramic crowns in a single visit. He also is trained in Invisalign procedures as an option for straightening teeth.
Dr. Kalafus grew up in Brazil, practicing dentistry there before coming to the United States. She received additional education in RestorativeDentistry at UCLA for two years, and practiced in California before moving to Illinois.
She decided to become a dentist because of her experiences as a patient. As a teen she required lots of orthodontic care, including braces and headgear. The care of the dental team and the difference in how she looked and felt inspired her to do the same for others.
Though Dr. Kalafus is a skilled general dentist, her favorite work is the Restorative Dentistry she learned at UCLA. It is very satisfying to see the result, she says, to help someone look better, feel better, get out of pain, to really touch their heart. She makes an effort to treat every patient like family, listening and taking the time with them to ensure the best care.

Let me start by saying I haven't been to the dentist in a long time. I think everyone can relate to having some level of anxiety around dental visits, at least I do. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth treated me with such kindness and respect - it put my mind at ease. She really took everything I was feeling into consideration. Dr. Bares was great and really listened to my concerns. If I would have known my experience was going to be THIS good, I would have made my appointment much sooner. This visit changed my perspective on what a dental visit can be.

They only care about how much money they can get out of you through x-rays and cleanings. I was already established with another dentist that doesn't do extractions, but I broke a tooth and needed it fixed. The dentist refused to do any work at all because I didn't want 30+ x-rays just to get 1 tooth fixed when I just got 30+ x-rays taken last year and another 30+ taken 2.6 years ago by them. And to boot they charge like $130+ just to send a copy of an x-ray. The actual work used to be good but I can't attest since the dentist refused to have anything to do with me.

Bad billing: They will tell you how much your insurance is supposed to pay and then not bill them correctly and months later you will get a huge bill. And when you question it, they take months to get back to you. Then when you have waited and waited for an answer, send you a letter stating they are sending you to collections. They don't know how to bill insurance properly. You will get a big bill months later.

My associate had no issues with the actual work that was performed, but we have major complaints about the service. I didn't get the lady's name, but she came off rude and had no idea what was going on when asked questions from her coworker. The other staff member (Miranda), answered our questions and did an excellent job while working the front desk.

Nice enough staff.....but they lack in knowledge and professionalism. Very unorganized went in for a consultation about an issue and they did adjustment on my partial. That's not why i was there. They called and rescheduled my appointment for an earlier time for me to sit in the waiting area for an hour n half which was 20 minutes later than my original appointment. My time is just as important as the next person.

I have been very pleased with my experience at Freeport Dental. The dentists and staff are friendly and professional. I have been able to make appointments in a timely manner, in both routine and emergency situations. I would recommend them to anyone seeking dental care.

Got me in the same day for my chipped molar Right before my family vacation. Reasonable pricing and the best staff. Made me feel comfortable and laugh. The doctor did an amazing job with my fill. I almost cried when I left because they were so accommodating. Thankyou guys!!!
