Dr. David Freeman has been providing personalized orthodontic care to children, teens and adults in Sarasota for over sixteen years.During that time Dr. Freeman and his team have and continue to be very active in the community.
Locally Dr. Freeman has served in multiple leadership positions with the Sarasota County Dental Association, actively participates in dental study clubs including the Sarasota (Silverking) Chapter of the Seattle Study Club.He passionately supports schools, athletics and non-profit groups that serve children and animals.
Dr. Freeman graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with High Honors in 2000. He earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science Degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2003. Dr. Freeman is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He obtained board certification in 2010 and recently recertified in the summer of 2020. Dr. Freeman is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Outside of work and involvement in the community he cherishes time with his family. He and his wife, Tiffany, have threeadorable sons. Dr. Freeman and his family love to be outdoors and enjoy going to the beach, theme parks and various community events.

So impressed! My son has special needs (ASD /ADHD) and has extreme anxiety about the dentist. Dr Freeman and ALL the staff were absolutely amazing! They made him feel comfortable and we never feel rushed. They have gone above and beyond. They don't pressure or try and sell you anything and have your child's best interest in mind. I have never waited very long for our appt either. 5+++

Office staff is nice until ask you and them about rates for services based on them being in network with your insurance company. Then they become rude and mean! Run from this place!

Mask fanatics (for kids too!). Not too many of those left in Sarasota, but none of this makes any sense anymore. With nearly zero cases in Sarasota as of today, and most people already got the virus or the vaccine, they insist on the pointless charade. Never mind that you'll be sitting in a chair and breathing at someone for half an hour to an hour without a mask, but no, wear a loose face mask on your face while walking into the office. Take your business and your money elsewhere, make a point that political posturing is not the way to go (as this is all it is now - there is no more science here and there never was).

The experience was great. The staff was nice and they knew what they were doing. I recommend using freeman orthodontics. I would give them a six star but there isn't the option

From the first step into the office, my daughter & I were treated well. Staff is very friendly, always. Whether in person or by phone, they always have positive, upbeat yet also very professional attitudes. Coming from a medical family, I know a staff is only as happy as they're treated - Dr Freeman is obviously a wonderful boss. Office space is clean, spacious, welcoming and Covid appropriate. Dr Freeman has taken steps to ensure his clients & staff feel safe during this time. Dr Freeman is extraordinary. He talks directly to my daughter, regarding her as a young adult, not a toddler - as a teenager, I know she appreciates this greatly. He & his technical staff explain every step and welcome any questions. We are only in the beginning stages of daughter's braces, but so far, feel very good about placing the current and future oral health of our daughter with Dr Freeman & his staff.

Great experience from the initial consultation to my son getting his braces placed about one month ago. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! The office is kid friendly and decorated with the latest tech gadgets. Dr. Freeman is very thorough, professional and I completely trust his opinion and expertise. This practice is so well organized every step of the way. The assistants are top notch, professional and very friendly. Absolutely positive experience! My son actually loves going and I know he is in great hands at Freeman Orthodontics. Highly recommend! UPDATE: my son had his braces removed and treatment completed about one month ago and his smile is absolutely perfect! Dr. Freeman is truly the best in town and my son always loved his appointments and was always made to feel so welcomed and everyone is so friendly. We are so very pleased with the results. I am BEYOND impressed!!! My daughter started Ortho treatment in Ohio, so when we moved to Sarasota, finding a new orthodontist was on my non-urgent to-do list. Well, the morning of picture day, one of her brackets fell completely off so finding a new ortho was now an emergency! I googled "best orthodontist in Sarasota" and Freeman was at the top of that search with all 5 star reviews. I decided to give them a call but didn't have much hope getting in any time soon. Well, was I wrong! They first scheduled our free consultation for a couple weeks out and when I explained the nature of her emergency, they were able to get my daughter in the very next day due to a cancellation and fixes her smile! Their practice is bright and inviting and everyone from the front desk to the hygienists and Dr Freeman himself are super kind and great positive energy and knowledge. Again, beyond impressed and so thankful for this awesome practice. We have 4 kids, so looking forward to many years and beautiful smiles with this group!
