After graduating from Poquoson High School, he attended The University of Richmond for his undergraduate degree. He then entered VCU-MCV School of Dentistry, graduating in 1981. Professionally, Dr. Freeman is a member of The American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental Association, and The Peninsula Dental Society.
His dental philosophy is conservative therapy best applied with thorough education and understanding from the patient's perspective; for the patient's best possible long term outcome. Do what is needed....do it well....practice prevention....and make it last!
Dr. Freeman enjoys dentistry and has never regretted his choice of career. 'I love to work with kids, making it as fun as possible. Older individuals as patients give me so much in return with their experience and acquired knowledge. I learn something new everyday!'
Dawn is a local 'Bull Islander', graduating from Poquoson High School in 1990. She attended Old Dominion University receiving her Bachelor 's in Dental Hygiene with a minor in Community Health in 1996.
Dawn enjoys family time with her husband Jeff and two daughters Madison and Logan. The entire family are avid volleyball fans. Both daughters play year round; indoor and outdoor schedules. 'Summertime is our favorite time of year.'
Amanda is a Newport news native and a 1998 graduate of Denbigh Baptist Christian School. She attended Old Dominion University and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree.
Amanda is married to her husband Doug. They have two boys, David, and Daniel. They love anything warm weather related; beach, pool, swimming, boating, and fishing with the boys. As often as possible, vacations to Florida are on the schedule.
Lorrie is a native of Hampton and graduated from Kecoughtan High School. She obtained her Dental Assisting Certificate from Professional Business Medical Institute and has34 years experience in the field.
She enjoys family and church related events. She has one daughterCandace, who with her husband Marcus gave her a grandson 'Clint'! Her dog 'Honey', a york terrier-bichon mix gets her moving every day. She likes to garden, do crafts, bake and decorate cupcakes. Outdoor activities like biking and kayaking keep her busy. One day she wants a summer home in West Virginia near her family.
Joanie moved to the area from New Jersey in 1989.She has been in the dental field for over 30 years. Joanie is passionate about dentistry and loves working with patients. She strives to provide patients with knowledge of their dental insurance benefits, and ensure they receive the best dental care.
Joanie resides in Yorktown with her husband Beau, three dogs, two cats, and six chickens. Joanie has two great stepchildren, Ben and Emily. For fun, Joanie enjoys cooking, boating, camping, and entertaining friends.

Dr. Freeman is a wonderful dentist. He had me come in and see him on a Sunday afternoon because I was in so much pain. From what I have heard from others, that does not happen often with other dentists. Dr. Freeman and his staff are amazing. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I love going to Dr. Freeman's office, his staff is very caring and love making you laugh. If you are afraid of going to the dentist after a visit there you will not be afraid anymore. The Simpsons

I have been a patient of Dr. Freeman's for many years. He and his staff have always responded promptly to any dental needs I have had. He has done most of the work, but has made excellent referrals when specialists were needed. They all have also have performed exceptionally. Dr. Freeman and his staff are very professional but also friendly and caring. I highly recommend them for any dental needs you may have.
