a native of New Port Richey, Dr. Grassin returned home to practice in the Pasco and Hernando communities.His father was a well known physician in New Port Richey that cared for patients in Pasco County for more than 60 years. The city of New Port Richey even honored his community involvement by naming the Main Street Bridge after him. Dr. Grassin is honored to continue his familyslegacy ofproviding outstanding care to thepatients of Floridas West Coast.
Dr. Grassin is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Additionally, he completed a General Practice Residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, California and practiced General Dentistry in the U.S. Navy prior to completing his EndodonticsResidency training. Dr. Grassin completed hisEndodontics Residency at the VA MedicalCenter in Long Beach, California. Dr. Grassin continues to develop his professional knowledge through regular work with dental associations, study clubs and research endeavors.
Dr. Grassin has taught and lectured to dental students, residents and practicing dentists.Dr. Grassinis committed to the highest quality of care through the latest innovations in microscopy, digital technologies and techniques. He is highly experienced in Microendodontic Treatment, Endodontic Microsurgery,as well as Endodontic Retreatment of cases that historically have required surgical techniques or extraction of the tooth. Additionally, his experience with Computerized Tomography allows him to help patients visualize their problem in 3 dimensions and develop the best treatment plan for them.
Dr. Grassin is currently the Alternate Trustee to the Florida Dental Association and Treasurer of the West Coast District Dental Association. He presently serves as Chair of the Florida Dental Association Council on Financial Affairs and is a Past President of the West Coast District Dental Association, West Pasco Dental Association and Hernando County Dental Association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, a Fellow in the Academy of Pierre Fauchard and a Member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Florida Dental Association, Florida Association of Endodontists, West Coast District Dental Association, West Pasco Dental Association and Hernando County Dental Association.
Dr. Grassins effortsfor organized dentistry have been recognized through a number of leadership and service awards. Dr. Grassin is proud to be a part of the American Dental Association and has been a member for over 25 years

Dr. Grassin and Staff are great. I had my first root canal and I can tell you it was painless. I was comfortable through out the whole procedure. I will be returning to Dr. Grassin should I need similar dental work in the future. This was an easy 5 star review!

Don't even think about going anywhere else. Dr. Grassin is absolutely outstanding. Gentle, friendly, expert work on route canals. I had one visit and was so pleased. I have recommended him to all my friends.

I have had 2 root canals with Dr Grassin. He was friendly and professional both times, as were all the staff. I would not go anywhere else even though he doesn't accept my Medicare Advantage insurance (most of the better dentists don't). Thank you!

Does not even deserve 1 star. No bedside manners, rude, impatient and dismissive to my questions and concerns. Would not recommend this dentist to my worst enemy, if I had one. His work was ok, but would never go back to him.

Felt like a drive up and hurry up place, no beside manner at all! Rude to me and condescending. It felt like they just wanted to hurry up and do a procedure on me without proper consultation first about what they saw and or wanted to correct. I have anxiety when it comes to dentists and let them know this up front, they made me feel bad about this and didn't really seem to care. I will never go back here nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone.

Everyone knows that when they hear the words "root canal " panic sets in. I've had a few root canals in the past that were extremely painful. (and there might have been some tears. ) That all changed when i was referred to Dr. Grassin. I had a root canal with an abscess done last Monday, and can honestly say I didn't feel the needle or any pain. I didn't have any pain that day,or the next. That same week,on Wednesday I went to my dentist for a filling, turned out that that tooth needed a root canal. So I drove back to Dr. Grassin office and had my second root canal. Again no pain before ,during, or after. Not only is Dr.Grassin an amazing endodontist, his team is also amazing. They are all welcoming and make you feel at ease. The office is immaculate . I highly recommend Dr.Grassin.
