Dr. McGuire has been serving people in the Downers Grove area over 30 years. He is a lifelong resident of the western suburbs. Upon graduating from Lyons Township High School he received his Bachelor of Science from Elmhurst College. He then went on to receive his D.D.S. degree from Loyola University.
Dr. McGuire chose dentistry at the early age of 12 because he liked working with his hands and working with people. My favorite part of dentistry is meeting new people and helping them with their dental needs.
His approach to dentistry is to build relationships based on trust and communication which is why he takes his time listening to his patients concerns. Building solid relationships starts with being a good listener and then providing consistent quality treatment to meet that patients specific needs.
Dr. McGuire has many personal interests and hobbies which include skiing, biking, scuba diving, art, archaeology, woodworking, horsemanship and cooking. His years as a Boy Scout has fostered in him a love of camping, hiking, kayaking, birding, and the study of native plants as well as Native American Indian culture. He is actively involved in his church in leadership and teaching roles. Dr. McGuire is married and has one son.
