Dr. Dreher was born in Laurel, MD, but he grew up in Ballston Spa when his parents returned to the area, and he graduated from Ballston Spa High School in 1981. Dr. Dreher has incorporated the latest in technology into his practice. He offers sedation dentistry, which allows fearful or nervous patients to receive care comfortably. The office is equipped with a CEREC restoration unit, which allows many patients to get all-porcelain inlays, onlays, or crowns in one visit.
The office also has digital X-rays, a Waterlase laser, a DIAGNOdent for early cavity detection, tooth whitening systems, state-of-the-art sterilization equipment, and all the instruments necessary for safe mercury filling removal.
Patients can also expect to receive the best when it comes to customer service, with a beverage and snack center, paraffin waxing, and HDTVs readily available for patient comfort. Dr. Dreher attended Springfield College in Massachusetts, graduating in 1985, and then it was off to the Columbia University Dental School in New York City. After earning his DDS degree in 1990, he completed his residency at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Dreher is a firm believer in continuing education for himself and his team. His postgraduate coursework includes programs on the latest in infection control, mini-implants, pediatric dentistry, laser dentistry, CEREC same-day restorations, safe mercury filling removal, naturopathy, and more.
Dr. Dreher is a member of the Better Business Bureau, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, the Fourth District New York State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Saratoga County Dental Society, the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the Holistic Dental Society, and he is certified by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board.
Dr. Dianna Cortese (just called Dr. D by her patients) has a passion for helping people achieve the highest level of health and wellness possible, and she has dedicated her career to serving those who have been diagnosed with cancer. She combines her experience in conventional dentistry, holistic dentistry, oral medicine, dental oncology, and holistic cancer coaching to offer patients in need a more complete treatment approach. Dr. Cortese received her holistic cancer coaching certification from the Center of Advancement in Cancer Education. She was drawn to this discipline in part due to her grandparents cancer experiences and wanted to know how to help people just like them. Her mission is to support you to improve your quality of life, focusing on cancer survival and thriving while also preventing cancer in the first place (or a recurrence).
She believes that healing from cancer should not be a one-size-fits-all model of medicine. The approach that she takes with her patients is personalized to each individual and their situation. Dr. D can help you get well by empowering you to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit, as supporting you from many different directions is essential for healing cancer.
