Drs. Frederick Dreher and Dianna Cortese are a dynamic duo specializing in care that consistently exceeds expectations. They are intimately familiar with how the techniques, materials, and services used in dentistry can affect overall health. Their years of experience and top-notch training enable them to welcome all sorts of patients, including those who have complex or specialized needs. You can expect all of their treatment recommendations to be based on what is effective, conservative, and backed up by objective science.

Dr. Dreher was born in Laurel, MD, but he grew up in Ballston Spa when his parents returned to the area, and he graduated from Ballston Spa High School in 1981. Dr. Dreher has incorporated the latest in technology into his practice. He offers sedation dentistry, which allows fearful or nervous patients to receive care comfortably. The office is equipped with a CEREC restoration unit, which allows many patients to get all-porcelain inlays, onlays, or crowns in one visit.
The office also has digital X-rays, a Waterlase laser, a DIAGNOdent for early cavity detection, tooth whitening systems, state-of-the-art sterilization equipment, and all the instruments necessary for safe mercury filling removal.
Patients can also expect to receive the best when it comes to customer service, with a beverage and snack center, paraffin waxing, and HDTVs readily available for patient comfort. Dr. Dreher and his team focus on educating each patient and providing them with high-quality treatment in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere of mutual respect.
Dr. Dreher attended Springfield College in Massachusetts, graduating in 1985, and then it was off to the Columbia University Dental School in New York City. After earning his DDS degree in 1990, he completed his residency at Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Dreher is a firm believer in continuing education for himself and his team. His postgraduate coursework includes programs on the latest in infection control, mini-implants, pediatric dentistry, laser dentistry, CEREC same-day restorations, safe mercury filling removal, naturopathy, and more.
Dr. Dreher is a member of the Better Business Bureau, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, the Fourth District New York State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Saratoga County Dental Society, the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the Holistic Dental Society, and he is certified by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board.
Dr. Dianna Cortese (just called Dr. D by her patients) has a passion for helping people achieve the highest level of health and wellness possible, and she has dedicated her career to serving those who have been diagnosed with cancer. She combines her experience in conventional dentistry, holistic dentistry, oral medicine, dental oncology, and holistic cancer coaching to offer patients in need a more complete treatment approach. Dr. Cortese received her holistic cancer coaching certification from the Center of Advancement in Cancer Education. She was drawn to this discipline in part due to her grandparents cancer experiences and wanted to know how to help people just like them. Her mission is to support you to improve your quality of life, focusing on cancer survival and thriving while also preventing cancer in the first place (or a recurrence).
She believes that healing from cancer should not be a one-size-fits-all model of medicine. The approach that she takes with her patients is personalized to each individual and their situation. Dr. D can help you get well by empowering you to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit, as supporting you from many different directions is essential for healing cancer.

Dentist is always great But for some reason I haven't been able to talk with my Dentist Office personal not giving him my messages and They don't know how and refuse to make out paperwork for your FMLA / job Never had this problem before I don't believe Dr Dreher is aware of them not letting me talk to him

I was seen at this office for a basic checkup and xrays. Right after my appointment I asked for copies of the xrays to be emailed to me, so I could review them myself. They said they would email as soon as their computer system was up and working again. I called and emailed 3 more times since then to request my xrays be sent, and they still have not sent them. It is now a month later and I have yet to recieve them. Extremely unprofessional.

I've been a patient of Dr Dreher's for a few years. Of course we are 'on the same page' regarding dental care but it's more than that. Everyone at his practice is just wonderful! From when I enter the practice (Amanda)to my cleaning (Kendra) & everyone in-between, they are so kind, helpful and full of knowledge, joy & smiles-it is a pleasure to be there! & I'm a big fan of the Cerec fillings!

This was a wonderful office that will research, contact you as often as you need and help you get what you need. I was able to actually get products that seemed to check out to be compatible for me and they were so patient and kind with all of my delays due to my other medical issues. I had work done on a tooth that had broken and they were very patient and asked lots of questions to make sure I was doing okay and comfortable. Over time it has been less successful. Out of the 3 teeth done only one was successful i had problem with the other 2 needing them removed afterwards. Not sure why because i have older fillings completely in tact. It was also very expensive. His last words to me on the last failed tooth when hit the nerve was that it happens and i can just do a root canal. The tooth was painful immediately afterwards and i only did it to remove the amalgam. It became infected and i had it removed as it was a wisdom tooth so not worth the pain agony and time. He did return part of my money after i complained. I should have left well enough alone. I went back to my old dentist who became more available.

Good experience overall. Going in, we were not familiar with Holistic Dentistry at all. Reason for the visit was to explore options regarding sleep apnea, including evaluation and treatment. Lori Ann spent 2 hours explaining many things, was very thorough, and made us feel very comfortable. There was no pressure to make a decision at the time of the visit, which was very much appreciated because it was a lot to take in. We appreciated her time and will definitely follow up.

I strongly recommend Dr Dreyer and his staff for those looking for holistic dental health. They are very friendly and professional. Teeth cleanings are flouride free. Dr Dreyer has also placed crowns on two zirconium (research shows it's a safer alternative to titanium) dental implants.

I drive two hours to see Dr. Dreher because he and his team are seriously the best! I feel so heard and seen and just overall cared for. If there comes a time when I need a more serious dental procedure, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!
