Dr. Verma provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dental care with an emphasis on implants, root canals, cosmetics, TMJ issues and full mouth reconstruction. He graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1993.He currently is Dean's Faculty at the University of Maryland where he is an attending dentist at Frederick Memorial Hospital teaching and overseeing dental students providing care for those who are less fortunate. He completed a one-year residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He strives to provide the best care for his patients and as such takes many continuing education courses. He has currently completed all 7 Cores of Neuromuscular training at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. He is one of a only a few dentists in Maryland who is trained in Neuromuscular dentistry. He has been in private practice since 1994. He enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family.Dr. Dave is a Fellow of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies.
Alex joined Frederick Dental Group in 2004. Alex graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery in 1999, and completed additional courses to receive clinical certificates in Oral Surgery and Endodontics. He then opened and owned his own dental practice in India. After years as a successful dentist in India, Alex came to United States in 2003 to continue improving and expanding his knowledge of dentistry. Alexs goal is to complete more classes in Dental School, and be a practicing dentist here in the United States. With the experience Alex brings to our office he is able to confidently answer any questions our patients have, and provide patients with the highest level of care. Alex is gentle, and kind hearted which allows him to provide comfort during any treatment for all of his patients.
Briean joined our team in 2010 as our lead surgical assistant and trained with the doctors to provide care in all general procedures. Her passion to excel clinically led her to earn her Maryland License in Expanded Functions. She later traveled with our doctors to Las Vegas to learn the latest techniques in restorative procedures, and also went on to complete courses in Las Vegas to work alongside our doctors with the latest technology in Neuromuscular Dentistry as well as Full Mouth Reconstruction. That training allows our office to offer the most up to date treatment for patients suffering from TMD, sleep apnea, and migraines. Over the last several years, Briean has gone on to complete over 200 hours in continuing education for both clinical and business. With that training, Briean took on the role of Practice Manager here at Frederick Dental Group. With her excellent clinical understanding and a strong philosophy of a patient-centered practice, Briean has the ability to work closely with patients to accomplish their treatment goals and has made many patients experience like none other. Briean is able to make you feel comfortable, and at home with her warm personality and desire to provide a high level of care. We are sure Briean will welcome you to our practice, and help the doctors meet all of your dental needs.
Christina obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014 from Allegany College of Maryland. She joined our team in 2016, and is a wonderful addition as a provider. She passionately works with her patients daily to improve their overall health, and works together with her patients to make a plan to get their health and hygiene to the highest level. Christina has a special interest in providing periodontal therapy to help patients keep their teeth for the rest of their life as well as reduce risk for systemic issues such as heart attack, stroke, and cancer. While working to get to know her patients individually, she goes above and beyond to keep them comfortable during treatment. Christina especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving care. In her time off, Christina enjoys cooking, working out, outdoor events, and spending time with family and friends.
Juli became a part of our team in 2014, and has been a great addition to our front office team. With seven years of experience in the financial aspect of the dental field, Juli is well capable of meeting the needs of her patients. Her compassionate manner along with her knowledge makes accomplishing financial treatment goals achievable. Her care doesnt stop when you leave the office or hang up the phone. Juli works endlessly with insurance companies to ensure she is able to maximize any potential insurance benefit. Dental treatment is in most cases an investment for a patient, and with this understanding Juli has become our Care Credit expert. This dental practice is simply amazing. I have been a patient of Dr Verma since 1993. I have followed him from Dental Care of Laurel Lakes to Germantown Dental Group and now nearly 60 miles each way to Frederick Dental Group. In the beginning, I felt as though I was going to support my brother in his new practice back in 1993. However it very quickly changed into him doing me a favor. My whole family has benefited from Dr Verma's passion, experience, and love for Advanced Dental Technology. As an attorney and former Army officer, I naturally grade hard. If I could give Frederick Dental Group 10 stars, I would. Thank you to all the staff and doctors at Frederick Dental Group! My mouth wouldn't be the same without you!

I was patient for dr Verma for 15-16 years that journey start from Germantown to here.From couple years I realized that I m being charged extra I talked to doctor as well account lady so many time about it when I start crying she changed her behavior every time I asked something she behaved rude .Finally I start crying in front of doctor ,but resulted no solution. Come to issue that when you go there they give you estimate for a procedure and told your share will be that much and agreed , procedures done all balance paid than after month or two will start getting another bill in hundreds when asked answer was we submitted to insurance and this is your part where was accountant lady for 2 months to check everything with insurance while everything is checked same day.Staying with for years my daughter and my wife left their practice but I was sticking there for doctor verma,s behavior. Everybody knows when doctor submit a bill to insurance they get paid only allowable amount and you pay whatever is your share ,copay here in dentistry is percentage as per that here I realize bill is submitted as per allowable and than later non allowable becomes customer,s burden. I got my new Dentist been with him since months and happy that I got out from that headache . Now every time what ever we agreed on stay same I got credit for some amount some time. Now I get information from insurance and office provides all information also.But here everything you will find hidden.Always call insurance they will explain you everything Good Luck

I do not usually write reviews, but I felt is necessary to write this one. I went to this in-network dentist. I scheduled the appointment for my children's wisdom teeth consult. The asked me to have their dentist to send over their x-rays so as not to have to take more. Not one time did they ever mention that they were going to charge me $75 per child to read said x-rays. Not only this I was charged $71 for the consultation when I asked why, that my Insurance covers all of it minus their $10 cleaning fee. They said oh this is what your Insurance is telling us you owe. So after reaching out to my Insurance and being told exactly what I knew that this should have been covered, I reached out to them again. Now I have spoken with them several times at this point not only did they charge me for services my insurance covered, but NEVER did they ever mention they were charging me $75 to read the x-rays. After saying I wanted to cancel my son's appointment until after the Insurance matter was cleared up they assured me that there would be no fee, that they would send it out to the Insurance for review first. Still nothing about a $75 fee to read the x-rays something that should be included in the consultation but wasn't. I was told it's only fee if they take x-rays. So it's only fee if you can bill my insurance for x-rays. That's not free and no matter who takes the x-rays they still have to be read. I've never been to a more money hungry place in my life. Now this magical $75 fee didn't appear until after I said they overcharged me. A $150 for a dentist to read some x-rays is the most bs thing I've ever heard. I wouldn't recommend them and I'm contacting my Insurance about them.

I wish I would have found this office a decade ago. Amazing chair side demeanor and incredibly reassuring. I had to get some significant work done and I'm normally abjectly terrified of the dentist. This experience was perfect, overall. Zero complaints, and the cost with my insurance was completely manageable. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

This dental practice is professional, yet friendly. The office personnel are cheerful and seem really happy to be working there. The doctor is like an artist who is passionate about his or her work, and he considers every angle of possible solutions to a patient's problem. I tried three other dentists before going to Frederick Dental Group, and it is by far the best, most confidence-inspiring place of the lot. I've had a great deal of dentistry over the years. I've had bad dentists whose work barely lasted a year, I've had average good dentists whose work was adequate for a while, and I've had one superior dentist whose work lasted 17 years. The atmosphere and attitude at FDG leads me to believe I've finally found another superior dental practice. I thought I'd add to this review that, after having oral surgery here, I still feel as good about FDG as before. This place doesn't just toss you out the door when the surgery is done. They schedule as many post op visits as necessary to finish the job completely to your satisfaction and comfort level.

They're just an amazing office. I had to have tooth extracted and get a filling in another. I have a long running phobia of dentists after a bad experience with one as a kid and I wish I'd have found them a decade ago. I've never been so comfortable with a Dentist. They don't rake you over the coals on cost either. This is the dentist I'll be using for as long as I have teeth, straight up. I went in to have my teeth assessed (I had cracked one) and they checked them out and presented me with options. They were very thorough and detailed, giving me every bit of information that they could. I have felt rushed in previous dental offices, so this was a welcome change. I scheduled the procedure itself for a week later and just had it done today. Next up is the standard comprehensive mouth exam and a cleaning. I'm finally going to be able to get everything I've needed done for years, but my phobia kept me from going unless it was an emergency. I can't say enough good things. To me, they're the perfect dentist for my personality. Thank you, all of you. My appreciation is difficult to quantify with words.

I highly recommend this dental practice. I get extremely anxious at the dentist and all the staff are so kind, understating, and comforting. Dr. Verma always takes the time to explain everything to me, without rushing me along and I appreciate that. He is also very skilled and knowledgeable. I had some issues I was having for years and every other dentist I went to dismissed me. He figured out the issue at our first meeting. I have been to a lot of dentists and by far, this is the best practice!

Dave and his staff were absolutely wonderful with me, especially with my anxiety. I had three teeth removed and they were great at giving me a blanket when I needed it, and let me bring my stuffed animal in to make sure I was comfortable.

The review that follows is the one provided after my first visit in 2018. I can't even begin to express the happiness I felt when my employer provided a new dental plan that would allow me to go back to Dr. Verma. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my first experience and NOTHING HAS CHANGED! THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!! All you need to do is CALL THEM! When you speak to Crystal on the phone, you can tell her your issue without the sighs and judgment. This place was built on love and my original review still stands! Frederick Dental Group LACKS NOTHING!!! They truly are where you need to be!!!! From the very first visit I was made very comfortable and felt welcomed. Alex was the main person I interacted with on my first trip and I have to say, I had no worries. I thought they would judge me for being a smoker and the condition of my teeth, but noooooo. They are THE ABSOLUTE BEST! The assessment was completed and I was given a very fair price for the work to be scheduled. I went for my next visit to begin repair work Alex greeted me with a smile and Dr. V came in so pleasantly "ok dear are you ready? " addressing any concerns that I may have then Alyssa and Dr. V made sure I was comfortable by ensuring numbness to the affected area and they got to work. Dr. V as well as Alyssa talked to me throughout the process and even made me laugh. They provided after care instructions and my follow up visit was scheduled with the caring and friendly front desk staff which Alyssa was very involved in. Then to top it all off while I'm home recovering from the work done DR. V CALLS ME PERSONALLY! Just to make sure that I'm okay and see if I had any problems or questions. I LOVE THE WAY THEY CARE! Best dental care EVER! Cost effective, friendly, caring and genuine concern for the patient! You better call em' and that's all I can say! Oh, and let's not forget about your first point of contact LAUREL! Let's just say that even her phone presence lets you know that you are in good hands with FREDERICK DENTAL GROUP!

Cannot thank the team at Frederick Dental Group and Dr. Dave enough for their excellent care of my mother. She is here visiting us from New York and had a dental emergency. They got her in within 24 hours and she is as good as new again. Highly recommended!
