Dr. Stanley Franson has been practicing dentistry for over 40 years. He attended the University of California at Davis where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. During his time at Davis he desired to follow in his Uncle's footsteps and pursue a career in Dentistry. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at Loyola University in Chicago.
Following his desire to become a dentist, his son also desired to achieve the same goal. Now father and son are side by side in the family practice making a team with great knowledge and expertise. They compliment each other well as Dr. Franson has 40 plus years of experience and has his son who brings 21st century technology into the practice.
Dr. Daniel Franson graduated from the University of California at Davis receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology and Physiology. Following his undergraduate education at Davis, he then attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. He is also an active member in numerous dental organizations including the American Dental Association (A.D.A.), California Dental Association (C.D.A.), and the Alameda County Dental Society (A.C.D.S.). He is Clear Correct Certified, which is a cosmetic orthodontic treatment service (invisible braces).
In his pursuit of excellence in his career, Dr. Daniel Franson has developed a strong passion for continuing education (C.E.). He finds it important to stay abreast of the latest technology and new advances in the dental field.

I was welcomed for my scheduled cleaning on time by Shannon who efficiently recorded all my pertinent health info. Sylvia, a skilled, experienced and friendly hygienist then carefully cleaned my teeth without any discomfort. Dr. Franson performed his usual thorough exam and then advised me of my future dental health concerns and recommended plans for prevention of dental disease. I left with cleaned and polished teeth in less then an hour. In the past, I have received equal, professional, caring service from doctor Stan's son, Dr. Dan Franson and hygienist daughter, Julie. This family dental practise has for years offered professional health service with true family pride.

Although I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed visiting the dentist's office I have to admit that Dr. Dan helped to make my experience a very pleasant one. I was very fortunate in being one of Dan's father Dr Stan's original patients. It's very apparent that Dr. Dan has inherited many of his father's fine qualities. He was very thorough as well as being very calm and easy going. I would recommend this excellent family style dentist to anyone.

It is always a great experience at Franson Dental!! It's relaxed, clean beautiful office. I never feel rushed and always feel like the Staff is focused on me. They all make going to the Dentist a good experience.

I enjoyed it so much I almost fell asleep in the chair when they were making room for my crown. I was relaxed enough to fall asleep while left alone. Lovely professional communication and tremendous expertise. Always a beautiful entry point in an decadent and amazing part of San Leandro.

They graciously fit me in & only took 1 x-ray and found out why 1/2 of my face was all swollen.....I had an abscess!!! They called & got me into see an Endodontist, that day, to have a root canal!! I'm sooo blessed & thankful!!
