With advances in every aspect of dental care, I am committed to staying current on the newest procedures, materials, technology, and treatment protocols.I take continuing education courses in practice management, cosmetic bonding advances, endodontics (root canals), infection control, oral surgery, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and many more topics. This ensures my patients receive the most advanced, up-to-date care available using the latest materials.
Personal Life I grew up in Upland, CA and have lived and studied in SoCal my entire life. My wife Jessica and I have two sons: Michael and Frank 'William'. Jessica is a licensed special needs educator and enjoys substitute teaching when time permits.After I finished dental school and completed dental residency, we decided to move to the Menifee area to make a new start and begin our family. Time away from the office is mostly spent with family and friends, traveling, and reading. Our boys love outdoor activities such as soccer, baseball, camping, golfing, hiking, swimming, or you name it: any reason to just be outside!
Benjamin began his career in dentistry over 24 years ago while he served as both a dental assistant and laboratory technician. During these initial stages of his occupation, he quickly started to hone his understanding of the science and technology associated with delivering dental care. Shortly after, Benjamin chose to further advance his professional portfolio by pursuing dental hygiene because he saw it as an excellent opportunity to further assist patients in achieving better overall health and wellness.
EDUCATION Since earning an associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Carrington College, Benjamin has actively sought rigorous educational opportunities including extensive courses with the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health and Orognathic Bioesthetic Institute. He is well-versed in CAMBRA decay prevention strategies, LASER periodontal therapy, DNA and PCR risk assessment, the Perio Protect Method, hygiene instrumentation, and the whole-health ramifications of periodontal disease. Every year, Benjamin continues to take field-related coursework, staying abreast of the most current methods and technologies that assist him in providing the utmost in patient care. His most recent accomplishment was the attainment of his RDH in Alternative Practices certification which will allow him to treat patients outside of the non-traditional dental office setting.COMMUNITY When he isnt catering to his patients, Benjamin spends quality time with his wife, Chelsie, a middle school English teacher and son, Benjamin, Junior, who is currently a college freshman. Inhis spare time, Benjamin enjoys working out, holds a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and serves in ministry empowering families with essential tools to maintain healthy habits and relationships.

My initial consultation with Dr. Pastore exceeded my expectations. Having gone to another dentist in the area, and was subject to an 'Up-sell' for 5 minutes. Dr. Pastore listened to my concerns with genuine interest. before I left, he gave me a Treatment Plan and being extremely anxious he included Nitrous Oxide as an option, but suggested that I might be OK without it. Meeting Dr. Pastore was a dream come true, I'm so grateful I found him on Yelp.

Dr. Pastore and supporting staff are wonderful. Just be aware that if you are sick or ending a sickness to call and reschedule your appointment. Had no idea this was a policy, rather a busy working mom of 4 - sent my daughter to an appointment and she was turned away as she's getting over a week old cold and now need to reschedule. Cleaning appointments for kids who attend school are not easy to get.....usually 3 months out. My daughter can't get her next phase of braces until she gets a cleaning. I get no one wants to get sick, just wish the "sick policy" was communicated at each appointment scheduling so these surprises/disappointments were mitigated. Had I known in advance I would not have wasted our time rushing to the appointment, scheduling babysitters for my other kids, getting older kids picked up etc.

Love this place, great staff, unfortunately they quit taking my Tricare Delta Dental military insurance which is the only insurance offered to me as retired military. So much for supporting the troops.
